List of Gary Wells's Reviews
He is hands down the best nephrologist, he is knowledgeable and a no nonsense, hold you accountable for your healthcare type but so very caring! I would recommend him to everyone.
I truly believe this man has save my life and kidneys when I was so very ill and broke my tib/fib. Since then, and for the last 3 years, we have had a fantastic doctor/patient relationship. He listens, encourages me to ask questions, treats me so compassionately, and, most importantly, he is intensely aware of my health needs. I highly recommend Dr. Gary Wells. I have had many nephrologist over the last 30 something years of dealing with kidney disease and he is on of the top two! A rare find and a fantastic doctor.
Dr. Gary Wells is a very compassionate doctor that is thorough in his treatment, is always willing to explain the treatment plan he is proposing, and will always take the time to listen to the patient and their family and answer any questions they may have. I'm very appreciative of his excellent care for my family member with kidney impairment.
Dr. Wells saved my life period. I appreciate him very much.
Drove over a hour in the snow to see dr. I took off work as well. Office would not accept debit card for payment of co pay. Only accepts cash or check. How backwards is that. I was directed to hospital ATM that was out of order. Dr Well's office only response was "Sorry". So patient unfriendly. Thanks Dr Mark Bowles for the referral that is patient hostile.
Great Doctor always listens and gives you the right medical treatment.
You broke the HIPAA law, when you talked to my cousin Jay Davis Jr. In front of other patients. You should have called him aside and talked to him, about sending him to the hospital to do his dialysis. Do you do all of your patients this way or do hand pick the ones that you want to embarrass and upset. I would fire you as my doctor, you're not the only doctor that deals with dialysis. Shame on you. I never asked for you to be my doctor, you took it upon yourself to be my doctor. I am human, and I do have a choice whom I want has a doctor, and I feel violated and embarrassed by you. Do you do all of your patients this, did you actually read the HIPAA guidelines. If not I think you need to go back and reread the guidelines.
He is an awesome doctor with a bed side manner. He is compassionit an cares alot about his ppl he cares for.
Dr. Wells has always been responsive to my needs and is knowledgable and professional. He has always been patient with me and takes much of his time explaining things to me. He has made recommendations to improve my health and even had the audacity to suggest that I loose weight. He has always been right on in my healthcare and I appreciate his care.
I was admitted through the ER as I had broken my leg in several places. The orthopedic surgeon wanted to operate immediately, but Dr. Wells was my nephrologist and would nor clear me for surgery as my kidney functions dropped and I was in adrenal shutdown. Dr. Wells treated me and postponed my surgery until my kidney functions were stable. He saved me. I'm forever greatful and he is a knowledgeable and caring physician. I highly recommended him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
