He was not in there with me long at all. Just asked questions about me. Did not even go over my MRI REPORT with me. He also asked me if I had any psychiatric problems. I told him yes, that I was bipolar. And he just did a little hand test with my leg and foot. I told him I was in a lot of pain. Could not walk well at at all. He then said he was sending me to Dr. Maccree. And just got up and walked out. He made me feel unimportant as a person. I didn't even get anything for pain at all. Knowing how much I told him I was. I also told him what the Er doctor said to me. That make sure I go see my doctor appointment and that he should take care of me far as of my pain treatment. But he did nothing at all.. even though I told him how many Tylenol I took a day.. But however his staff was so kind to me. I thank them for that. I felt like Dr. McKay didn't want to take time with me cause I am bipolar. Cause after asking me that ?. He just said he sending me to Dr. Maccree. No, help with anything. Not even until I saw the other doctor he was sending me too. Left in pain, hurt and confused with him. I feel as though he just bypass me on to another doctor. Left in tears and hurting like heck. He had my MRI REPORT and knew of all my back problems. I also have cauda equina syndrome in my lower back. Which can paralyze your bladder or even your legs. If not treated. His staff was great folksThank you for making me feel important human that God made.

Had a pinkie flexor tendon rupture in March of 2020. Contacted Ortho Tennessee and they said this was within Dr McKay's expertise. Surgery was botched as the reattached tendon pin was in the wrong place, had to be subsequently moved by Dr. Moss of Knoxville. Also the tendon actually ruptured 9 months after the repair because it wasn't noticed that there was another tear in the tendon.

Superb doctors and staff. I’m a terrible patient with all my whining and complaining, but they never seemed to care what my attitude was. Myself and my family were always treated well by all the staff. I’m sure they are happy not to have to deal with me anymore but I’m sure I’ll be back. 😂

Definitely the best team of physicians in East Tennessee. As soon as you enter the building, the amazing secretaries welcome you with a huge smile and are so compasionate. Also, they are so understanding and flexible and work with setting appointment. Dr. McKay is awesome. I have no regrets. I wish that I have visit them sooner with my physical problems. I also recomend Hanna Miller and the young Dr. who treated me yesterday. It was amazing. The nurses are also very nice, every single one of them. God bless you all.
