I spoke to my family doctor about contraction occurring in the fingers of my right hand. He asked if I would like to see ‘the best hand guy in Oak Ridge?’ and I said yes. I soon received a call from an appointment coordinator at OrthoTennessee’s Oak Ridge office and I was scheduled for an appointment to see Dr. Michael MacKay. Two days later I received a text message with a link to enroll online to their Patient Portal. I was apprehensive but it was clear fast and easy. I then received a message with a link to complete the new patient intake information form including the easiest app I have ever seen for listing my meds. The office check in was fast and simple. I waited about five minutes before I was taken to an exam room..The nursetech did a quick ID verification and within ten minutes she had taken three Xrays of my hand and I was back in the exam room. After another five minutes Dr. MacKay came in and briefed me on what was causing my handfinger problem why it happens and my treatment options. He will surgically repair my fingers in about a month. I am completely happy with this whole experience. Dr. MacKay has already fixed my brothers fingers so I know he is the perfect choice. I look forward to the surgery and the return of full function of my fingers.

I stopped at Dr. MacKays office to talk to the staff about an appointment and fortunately was seen by Dr. MacKay within the hour. Fantastic service and a special thanks to Dr. MacKay and staff. He has done a couple surgeries for me in the past with fantastic results. I recommend him and staff as the best of the best David C. Anderson my wifes name is on their email list.
