Since moving to Ooltewah, Tennessee in August 2016 from Dunlap, my wife was insistent that I find a family physician to watch my health....at the time, I was 62 and needed one doctors visit in 40 years.. for bulging disc surgery in 1995. My wife uses CHI mediccal group, Dr. Kent Grotenfendt, but he was not taking new patients. So, Dr. Sherwood was for me! And I'm glad I did! Not only is he very attentive, he listens and discusses your health issues like a family doctor in the 1960's! Has kept me relatively healthy, haven't quit smoking yet, and his staff is very friendly!

I started going to Dr. Sherwood about 7 months ago and Since I started going there I’ve had a lot of stress and anxiety. He says one thing and does another. The treatment he put me on recently made me severely sick and he didn’t seem to want to listen or care. Some of his nurses are rude and unprofessional. The lady who answers the phones was very not very and caring. But it’s either his way or the highway!!
