List of Luis Sanabria's Reviews
The hospital we went to have our baby had them listed in the “supports tenn care” I call and the lady has an attitude with me and tell’s me that they don’t support tenn care she kept getting an attitude with me
Overall, I liked Front Porch Pediatrics. It was really easy to get an appointment and we didn't sit around waiting for the doctor to come into the room (which is the worst when you have toddlers) I also got any paperwork I needed right away. The issue I had with them is that the front desk staff gossiped loudly about all of the patients and the parents, with me sitting right there, clearly able to hear everything. They said a lot of really rude things that made me uncomfortable. This happened every single time I went and ultimately why I switched to a new pediatrician. I liked Dr. Sanabria just fine. It did take several visits to finally get a referral to a feeding specialist for my baby. He also didn't ever seem to try to get to the root cause of an issue, he would just tell me x issue was common and send me on my way. We switched pediatricians now, mostly because of the front desk staff. I really don't have anything negative to say about the medical staff. I gotta say- I loved the nurses. They were fantastic!
Figuring out how to go about this review is tricky because 2 months ago I would have easily given them 4 stars. We were very happy there. Now I sit somewhere between saddened and appalled. I have an 11 year old who was a patient with Dr. Sanabria for several years. He's never been particularly fond of medical staff, but he warmed up to Dr. Sanabria and his nurse, and he eventually got to the point of trusting and even liking them. But we live almost an hour away and my schedule has become increasingly hectic and it was becoming difficult to manage our visits out there every time my child was sick, which was relatively frequent. I called and spoke to someone at the front desk and let them know that a new pediatrician opened in our town and I wanted to visit them a few times to see if they would be a good fit, after all, a 3 minute vs 1 hour commute is a significant difference. After the first visit with the new pediatrician my child said he preferred Sanabria, but he was willing to give this new office a chance for a couple more visits. Unfortunately, our experiences there weren't great and after the last visit I agreed that we could resume care at Front Porch. So I called to request my child's records and care be transferred back to Front Porch expecting there to be no issues, but instead I was told I would have to be called back as the staff needed to speak directly with Dr. Sanabria. I was later called back and refused citing that they had too many patients. Fair enough. I can understand that, although it was a bummer. But something compelled me to call again today. So I did, but this time I did not share who I was. I simply asked if Dr. Sanabria is accepting new patients. I was told that as long as we had the correct insurance and followed the vaccination schedule that we could in fact take up care with Dr. Sanabria. So what reason could there possibly be to refuse a patient in good standing that was simply trying to make life more manageable but accept a totally new patient? Honestly, I don't see how they could have an answer that would be satisfactory enough for me to consider returning. That's not why I am putting this out there, my son being under their care is no longer my goal. But I hope this makes them evaluate their decisions and whether they are being made out of compassion and care for the patient or if the ego was too delicate, but Dr. Sanabria, you should know you have sincerely hurt a child who trusted you.
Because of their negligence, my daughter was unable to compete and try out for volleyball this year. Staff were asked multiple times for the physical form for my daughter for school and we were presented with a vaccination form. Apparently everyone is waaaaayyyy to hung up on COVID. Anyway, they reiterated that this was the form she needed. She was turned away. When my wife called they said something along the line of "ohhhhh, that form!" Will not be going back.
Dr. Tun has been my daughters pediatrician for 3 years now. I just recently had my second child who had RSV at 2 weeks and my older child got multiple sicknesses while on my maternity leave. The office staff is friendly and anytime I have called for a sick visit they have always got me in that day (which was like daily for a week when my baby had RSV). I also called for Dr. Tuns opinion on a formula and she called me back at 6:30 pm which may not sound like anything great to people who don’t know the hours and loads of work that people in the medical field have but she called me back after hours when I know she has children and a life as well. She did this to give me peace of mind. I never write reviews but thought that was amazing and the ability to essentially call and walk in is amazing. I don’t plan on moving anytime soon and will continue to use Dr. Tun and recommend her to my friends.
I’m surprised reading some of these reviews! Dr. Tun has seen all four of my children over the last 7+ years and we have always been very happy with her care. We have seen Dr. Sanabria a couple times as well, he is great too. And I love the office ladies, they are always personable and kind to my family. Would definitely recommend Front Porch Pediatrics!
Front Porch Pediatrics treat you like family and really gets to know your child as a person and a patient. The staff is amazing with children and truly care about working with the community. The best pediatrician office in Ooltewah!
Very kind, compassionate, listens to parent's concerns and input. Available when we need him. Great bedside manner. I trust him with my boys!
Absolutely love this office, staff, and Dr. Sanabria!!!!
My son sees Dr. Sanabria, my daughter sees Dr. Tun. The office staff is great. Very accommodating when we need a sick appointment and when scheduling well appointments. The doctors are both superb and very personable. Dr. Tun has called to give me test results, explaining any questions. Dr. Sanabria called to make sure I had gotten an appointment with a counselor he had recommended. Great practice.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
