I have been seeing Dr. Summers for over 17 years as my primary care physician and have great respect for his care. He LISTENS to what I tell him is wrong and either orders tests to help in diagnosis if it is needed and if he thinks I need a specialist he helps me find one. He is helpful in prescribing medications that I can tolerate and are not overpriced. I have recommended Dr. Summers to many people and would continue to do so.

He only does what you tell him to do. He done my mothers bloodwork every year and blew off eleviated liver emzymes. A year later she died of cancer. If he had just scheduled more test she might would still be alive. After her diagnosis he would only prescribe lordtab 5s for a terminally ill cancer patient who was screaming in pain daily for two months until her death. If you value you health do not use this doctor!

My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Summers since 2003, after retiring from professional engineering positions and moving to Tennessee. Dr. Summers is very professional, friendly and competent---All one would desire for a family physician!

After hearing nice things about Dr. Summers, I decided to make an appointment. I was shocked by how rude and cocky he was when I told him my issue and the methods that had been used to try and treat it. He said there was nothing that could be done (he examined me only after I insisted that he look at the problem area) and that I needed to see a specialist. He was zero help with finding a specialist and even told me there was not one in the area. A quick google search proved otherwise...
