List of Pamela Evans's Reviews
I had needed surgery for years, but kept putting it of for fear of not knowing what to expect. Dr Evans put me at ease and took her time to thoroughly explained the procedure and what to expect post-op. She told me that after the surgery I would wonder why I waited so long and boy was she right. Ladies, if you’re looking for a great doctor and surgeon, Dr. Evans is the one.
This lady was frequently late on my wife's appointments. On one occasion, she had waited from 4 p.m. until after the office had closed to be seen and only stayed because she had no other obgyns that would treat her endometriosis at the time. But that isn't even the worst part. They strong armed her into signing for a tubal ligation when she went for a DNC "in case she wanted it" since the wait times for procedures were so long earlier this year. We decided to have another kid so our daughter would have a sibling and had it taken off the agenda within 24 hours of the initial signing. Reworked the papers and everything. It wasn't on the pre op papers, we made sure. And then she gave her the tubal anyways. I should mention that we were scheduled for 10:30 and sat in the pre op until 4:30 waiting for the 45 minute procedure. To add insult to injury, after they told us they did the tubal with the DNC, the nurse lied and changed her story and said she "misread" the papers when my wife understandably became emotional. Two weeks later my wife finds out at the follow up with the doctor that they clamped them off and let them self-amputate. Makes me wonder if they hadn't broke hypocratic oath if maybe they could have fixed their mistake and not robbed us of a family at 28 years old. No compensation to cover the crazy cost of adoption or in vitro or even God forbid we wanted to pay for the stupid reversal for a rock bottom chance to conceive. 0/5 stars

Very patient and caring
Excellent doctor. Excellent surgeon. Personable. Easy to talk to. Helped me through a great deal of decisions and helped me to recover with such personal attention.
I will not go to any other doctor. She has delivered my first two sons and when I went in for my 3rd child she remembered me and having 2 previous sons and was just as excited as we were about having a little girl. You do not feel like another face when you deal with her, she remembers if not all, almost all of her patients. I love her and will recommend her to anyone and everyone in need of an ob. When you go to your appointments you can see pictures of all the lives and families she has helpped bring happiness to.
Dr Pam Evans and her staff has been very supportive and helpful. She was very through and helped me with some news that know one wants to receive and what is the best process for me. It's not easy to find a GYN that you feel comfortable discussing personal issues with and she makes you feel it's okay. Thank you Dr Evans and your staff!
Dr Evans provided a way for me to do testing without minor surgery. She conferred with other doctors to be sure the procedure would be safe. She is compassionate and very thorough. She takes the time to explain what she is doing and why. I would highly recommend her for any female, reproductive concerns.
Dr. Evans is a fantastic, well informed, empathetic doctor. She is always concerned & treats you with dignity & respect. I've had many procedures: ovary removal, hysterectomy, D & C and she also delivered my daughter. Previously, I had two miscarriages. She was thoughtful & kind & sat with me holding my hand. You will not find a more knowledgeable & thoughtful doctor around. Word of warning though-- because she is such a great doctor & doesn't rush you during the visit, your wait will be long.
This review is for her practice in Jackson, TN. Dr. Pamela Evans is an extremely caring, easy-spoken, down-to-earth doctor and excellent diagnostician. She has a wonderful ability to look at the big picture and care for her patients in a manner that is most appropriate for the individual. I am a chronic pain patient with autoimmune disease and several illnesses that make my care complicated. She has surpassed my expectations and gone further than other doctors to ensure my comfort and good health. Fantastic staff at practice! I recommend her highly.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
