Fell on a Wednesday, was able to see PA in Dr. Steven Smith's Office. Dr. Smith called while I was still at the office and offered to do my surgery the following day. The staff was super helpful, the PA was super nice and professional. When Dr. Smith met me at LeConte Medical the next day he went over all my options and the surgical procedure. Could not ask for a better doctor. Thank you.

Thus far I am very happy with Dr. Smith. He is up-to-date and noticed a serious problem I have of which I was not aware! I had no problem with his personality.....I found him pleasant. His follow-up is very good.

I just got my second knee replacement. Dr. Smith is very professional and does an excellent job. After having my right knee done I wouldn't have had my left done if Dr. Smith couldn't do it. I certainly recommend him. You can hardly see the scar from the surgery and its only been six weeks. Dr. Smith also did my wife's knee replacement seven years ago.

I used to live in Pigeon Forge...I now live in Christiana, much to my regret...Dr Smith was my ortho doc for 14 years while there... He did an arthroscopic surgery on my left knee, he repaired both rotator cuffs, he did carpal tunnel release on my let hand and treated me for several other painful complaints. In my opinion and from my experience he is the VERY BEST ORTHO DOCTOR THERE IS!!! I now need CTR in my right hand and wish I could go to him for this surgery...also his surgeries leave little to none scarring... He's a very talented surgeon. It's true he's not the most friendly person around, but as we got to know each other that too improved. I wasn't looking for a funny doctor...I wanted the BEST doctor. In my opinion HE'S A ROCK STAR!!! And I do wish I could still see him for my problems....

He is a sweet and compassionate person, he has his bad days like everyone does. His bedside manner could use a little work. He is very good at what he does if you need surgery he is the one to go to. He is a very good surgeon and skilled in his profession.
