I had pain in my baby toe for weeks and weeks. I thought it had become an infected blister and had received an antibiotic from my GP. Upon visiting Dr. Harrison I learned it was actually a splinter which had festered for who knows how long Dr. Harrison removed it that very day with determination and patience. He thoughtfully numbed my toe when he realized the removal was hurting badly. When he gave me the shots that numbed my toe, my foot involuntarily twitched. He never complained about that or my wincing. He was exceedingly patient. His nurse was warm and friendly. Her sense of humor put me at ease. My toe was completely fine immediately, and I went on a hike a couple of days later. This was after weeks of it hurting to walk or even drive. It was a perfect experience.
