D. Peebles is now retired. He saved my spouse's life and his follow up was excellent. His staff was always efficient and polite as was he.

Find another doctor asap! He and his staff are extremely unprofessional and couldn't care less how fast how they can perform the surgery, and get you out of there.

The very brief time I spent with Dr, Peebles, he was as disinterested as any doctor I have ever met. His head nurse, Teresa, speaks for him. When I complained of intense pain immediately following Dr. Peebles removing my gall bladder, she suggested I 'buck up', understand gas was blown into my gut during the procedure, and drink plenty of fluids. When my husband called a second time, frantic, Teresa approved over-the-counter gas relief. We were never able to speak to Peebles. I almost died of diabetic complications associated with poor care after the surgery. If you desire a factory-style surgical procedure with no professional follow-up and a consistent display of incompetency, Peebles is your man. I, however, will never darken his door again.

Referral doctor for hernia surgery. Waited >1 hour at first visit; >1 hour first post surgery visit and after waiting more than one and one half hours for the second post surgery visit I left. The office never called me to reschedule or to see if I was still alive. TERRIBLE SERVICE! Dr. Peebles does not communicate and is devoid of personality - cold and distant, borderline unfriendly. Not a very nice person. I did not die as a result of my surgery and have had no problems. He "may" be a good surgeon - I have no way of knowing. I would not go to see him again for any reason and cannot recommend him.
