We've been so pleased with Dr Crawford. He talks to our daughter in a way that is easy for her to understand and he made sure she's involved in her care. He was very personable and our wait time was minimal. An overall wonderful experience!

Dr Crawford has been following my granddaughter’s foot since she was in the NICU at East TN Children’s Hospital 4 years ago. He has always been kind and answered any questions I had. Instead of jumping right into surgery (like I wanted) he wanted to take a more conservative approach and see how her body responded. I am so glad he did because as she grew her birth deformity took care of itself and she did not have to go thru a painful procedure. I highly recommend Dr Crawford and his staff for anyone needing pediatric orthopedic services.

My son was having bilateral foot pain and always walked on his toes he seen Dr Crawford and he did x-rays and casted my son that day It took 2 guys to cast my sons feet one of them bent his feet into position while the other one wrapped my son was screaming in pain the whole time at 5 am he was still screaming begging God to help him took my son back 2 weeks later he said the cast didn't do any good and was going to recast him I told him no if it didn't help he wasn't going back through the pain he said to bring him back when he was 9 and they would do a tendon release July 9th 2021 my son had a release when he was out of his cast 2 weeks pain was still bad Dr C told me kids don't have pain like that after this surgery and that I was in denial of my son being a growing boy it's now Nov 5 2022 my son can barley walk he sees a pain specialist pt and ot he has a misfiring nervous system causing chronic pain He also put in my son's chart he rated his pain 0/10 at visits that's a lie!

The best surgeon. He is so kind and loving. He treated 2 of my daughters. I can’t thank him enough.

Dr Crawford has been the Orthopedic Surgeon for my special needs son for 12 years. Dr John Crawford has performed several very difficult and delicate survives on my son , Gavin, over the years. He is the most professional, thorough, informative, kindest Surgeon that we have dealt with over the span on 12 years. How Thankful we are to have Dr C on our son's medical team, is beyond words. I highly recommend Dr J Crawford as a Dr and as a surgeon. He has done a phenomenal job with giving Gavin the very best care imaginable. We are blessed that he was so willing to take on such a difficult case as my son's special needs are. Dismissive and condescending behavior. Do not recommend for pediatric and/or special needs demographic.

I have referred many patients to Dr Crawford over 30 years. I needed a referral from him for myself for a serious medical condition and he and his wife could not have been more unhelpful. His wife actually thought I was calling him for narcotics!!
