Great doctor and staff!!

Dr Mitchell is probably one of the best drs I’ve ever been too! Bed side manner is great, if I had a problem he always had a solution. His staff was always nice. The wait time was a little long on my very first appointment other than that it hasn’t been bad. I mean he is super busy with delivering babies and running a full blown practice too. I definitely would recommend him to anyone

Wish I would've had Dr. Mitchell as my ob for my first 3 babies. He is awesome! Would definitely recommend him to any lady any day! And his staff is so kind and friendly!

I have had a really awful experience with Doctor Mitchell and his clinic. Getting anything done there is like pulling teeth. 1. There is -always- an insane wait time. Doctor Mitchell might’ve been a good OB to see a couple of years ago, but word of mouth has damaged that completely. There are always a ton of people in the office waiting and the wait is insane. 2. The ultrasound tech they hired (temporarily, but still) to do my anatomy scan was a cheesy creep that didn’t do his job. I am not even sure if he knew how to be an ultrasound tech, based on my experience. He kept saying “I don’t see it today, but I’m sure it’s fine,” trying to make small talk with me, and checking boxes. Turns out my son has a pretty problematic birth defect. This guy that did my ultrasound didn’t save any of the anatomy pictures to the server and it went completely unnoticed for MONTHS until the perinatal specialist in Jackson noticed it— thank God we did. Because my son will need immediate surgery after his birth, and the outcome of not catching it after birth can be FATAL. But that wasn’t a big deal to Doctor Mitchell or any of his staff. 3. When I found out about my son’s birth defect, I didn’t even receive an apology from Doctor Mitchell other than him telling me about his displeasure in hiring the aforementioned ultrasound “bro.” And when I asked about the birth defect my son has, and some more information on it, he told me he “didn’t know.” That is not the first time I’ve asked Doctor Mitchell a question about complications with my pregnancy and been told he didn’t know the answer. I’m not sure what the point of going to a doctor is if they can’t exhibit any competency as a doctor to answer questions in their field. 4. I have received no help with my complications, even with getting PAPERWORK on it. Everything is encrypted (I get that. I work in healthcare myself, I understand privacy reasons for doing that) and even calling to get paperwork takes DAYS. 5. There is practically only one staff member that has been pleasant to interact with. His staff is rude and do not show any sign of caring about patients or even wanting to be at work. One lab tech even had the audacity to ask me if I knew who the father of my child was. I’m married. Of course I know. They are all, except for Brandi, INCREDIBLY rude. This has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a clinic of any kind, and my husband was in the Army, so that is saying a lot. Please safe yourself the nightmare and find another doctor for your pregnancy.

Dr Mitchell cared for me and delivered my son. He is caring, compassionate and knowledgeable in his field. He is now caring for me with my second child. I would recommend Dr Mitchell to anyone expecting.

We have never had a bad experience with Dr. Mitchell. He is so kind and always helpful if I have any questions. I feel that my baby will be in the best hands. We always arrive 15-30 minutes before my appointment and never had to wait. I couldn’t ask for a better doctor or staff for my first baby!
