David Sanford's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Sanford is no longer in the state of Alabama as far as I know. He was one of the few doctors in south Baldwin County that would take children on Medicaid and even though he always ran late and wasted my time talking about things that had nothing to do with my kids, we still went back for shots. Then he disappeared. I spent months trying to get my kid's records from his office and was ultimately unsuccessful. I still feel angry and betrayed by Dr. Sanford and I would warn anyone else away.

We spent the first 18 months of my son's care with Dr. Sanford and I wish we would have changed much much sooner. I have dreaded his well checks bc I know by the end, we are both going to be frustrated and ready to scream. I have never had an appt that didn't take more than 2 hrs (even when there are no other patients) and we are with Sanford for less than 5 mins. There seems to have been some staff turnover lately and not necessarily for the better. The check in lady is disorganized and rude. The nurse is nice enough, but doesn't return phone calls. If your child has a problem, you might as well go to a walk in clinic...it would be better than going to this practice and you will be a lot less frustrated. I hate that we have wasted so much time there!

Dr. Sanford is one of the best! He goes out of his way to help his patients! I spend a lot of time with him when I was younger due to my illness and even when I wasn't in the office to see him, he always took the time to come over say hello and addresses any concerns we had! Very compassionate person, and I highly recommend him!

If you choose Dr,Sanford for your children's doctor. Please don't have any other plans for your day! Even for an early appt. time. You will be waiting all of 3 hours ! Mark my words. Nice guy but doesn't 3 minutes in the room after you have been waiting for HOURS! Save your frustration and find someone else. Has no common curtesy for others time.

Waiting time isn't the best but the nurses are all very nice and Dr. Sanford himself is awesome!!! I honestly think he'd spend all day with you if you needed him to. Not to mention he is the ONLY doctor that my daughter has ever liked. (says a lot to me)

Dr. Sanford has been a great pediatrician for my kids. He is very down to earth and always tries to spend a couple of minutes at the beginning to interact with the children to help them warm up to him, which is especially nice since my youngest child is shy. He explains things thoroughly and has a great attitude. The only issue I have with his office is that a couple of the office staff have been a bit rude at times, but other than that, I'm very happy with this practice.

I have never called his nurse and received a confident answer, not to mention she seems unconcerned. Now my account and insurance is messed up. The person in charge could not answer any of my questions so I will have to change pediatricians to a more knowledgable group of professionals.

I will no longer be using Dr. Sanford as my pediatrician. He always seems rushed when I come in with my children.My questions are not answered.His nurse appears uncaring and my phone calls are never returned in timely manner. She does not appear knowledgable when answering any questions I may have. I will only see Dr. Eberly in the future.
