This place is all about the money and patient quality care takes a back seat. That was my experience at Middle Creek Eye Center (Dr. Howard Van Moore). Plus, Dr. Howard Van Moore charges above patient's responsibility regarding insurance. This has been my documented experience with the insurance company fraud team. Dr. Moore and staff was warned about this practice as stated in his "participation agreement" by phone and letter by the insurance company. I am glad I checked on this after Dr. Howard Van Moore kept telling me he can collect more up front and hold it. I was told after insurance is processed that a refund would be granted... This was incorrect, a violation of the participation agreement and a flat out deceiving tactic. Well, no refund was granted and it took the insurance company and bank to get the money back. Middle Creek Eye Center, Dr. Moore, his wife and office assistant avoided the insurance and bank for months.
