Geat person that provides great care!
Known him for 14 yrs because I've had Dr. Hollingsworth as my PCP when I was a child and teenager and now my own child is a patient of his. He's always been very friendly and courteous and he genuinely cares about his patients needs and works hard to figure out what and how to fix it. He is very knowledgeable and my trust for him is very strong. The waiting depends on the day and time. He is a very well known doctor but even on his busiest days I'm only waiting for maybe 45 min.
My two boys have him for a pcp, since they are on tenncare and he is one of the only two or three doctors in sevierville that takes tenncare. My first son needed tubes in his ears, but woudn't refer him to an ent to get the help he needed, so I had to call in a favor of an old family doctor and frend to help get him tubes. My son has so hear loose because of this. My son also is in the lowest spetrum of autism, ahich his office knew, as well ashis great fear of doctors (because of the numerus surgeries on his ears he had to have) and still he was very un attentive to thoose needs and tried to get us over and done with in a hurry, the other lady DR.B in his office acctually Yelled at him twice, overstepping her role as doctor not patient. The first time she yelled at him he had his head on my shoulder crying (fear of doctors)she asked me a question and as i was answering she reached over and pulled him of my shoulder and layed him back on the table and him terrrified and she yelled at him for resisting and in that resistance he broke her thin necklace chain she was wearing!!!! Who wears a necklace when the work with children? and why would you take a child who has a disability and a fear of doctors away from his mother, especially when he is already upset because she walked in the room? He also diagnosed my son with strep throat even when he had no adnoids or tonsils, not once BUT TWICE!!! VERY BAD DIAGNOSIS!!! When my second son was born I insisted that he be seen by the ent who was seeing my oldest son through his MANY EAR TROUBLES, but no DR. Hollingsworth saw no need for a referal. So through all my second sons ear infections I keep insisting and it wasn't until I sat in his office one morning after my son had rotovirus for 2 months, and stopped breathing at night from choking on the mucus trying to drain down his throat, but couldn't because his adnoids and tonsils where so swollen and infected that the thick mucus wouldn't go down, that he final gave the referal.I WAS HOT!! The ENT had told us about the tonsils and adnoids, and that his ears had so much fluid and infection behind his eardrums that they were 3 points from being FLAT LINED!!!! My son was only 13 months old when he finally got tubes!! He could barley hear us when we talked to him he was only responding to our movements!!! If this review doen't tell you all you need to kow about this doctor and that this doctor is not a good doctor then i am sure you can ask just about any of his patients. My

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
