It is "unfavorable" to learn long after leaving a cardiologist that you were never advised, after 7 years +, of your developing left bundle branch blockage; that the camera photos during a stress test did actually take "perfect pictures" but did not mean photos were of a perfect heart as was stated, by design of course: Enough of that, enough of Riedel!!

Rude disrespectful would not listen to my concerns

Hes very experienced and professional and he takes time to listen to me.

My husband has seen him for years and he recently did a heart stent on me.i would highly recommend him

I found Dr Riedel to be a no nonsense, but very qualified. He took the time to explain what was going on with my heart and explained all the options and was also great with my family after the procedure. His staff at Parkwest was very professional and made me very comfortable during the procedure. I would recommend him without hesitation.

I was in the hospital with afib that was not being controlled by the medicine I was taking. Dr Riedel talked to me for a few Minutes then told me some options that we had. As we talked I could tell he was making the best decision for me. I felt very confident in this decision. The result was what we were looking for.

Poor bed side manor didn't discuss my heart all wanted to talk about is my weight. Ive had several heart caths with 12 stents and open heart surgery and am haveing trouble breathing wear ploumanary dr said do to heart .he did not address this and thsts why i visited him .would not recommend him to anyone

Dr. Riedel saved my life. He is very good at what he does. Very professional and tells it like it is but compassionate at the same time. He works at your problem until he finds the answer as long as you work hard with him and then together he solves the problem or sends you to someone that can solve the problem. I trust him implicitly. When I was first referred to Dr. Riedel, there were no clear signs of heart problems but my primary physician couldn't get past the fact that something was wrong. Dr Riedel ran tests and came up with the same problem although he did verify that I had experienced several mini strokes. As time proceeded, although nothing showed up on a stress test, there was still that "feeling" that something was wrong. WE decided to do a cath. Neither of us was prepared for what he found as soon as the cath was inserted. I had big time blockages. He immediately stopped the cath and within a day I was at the surgeons office and within a week was having open heart by-pass surgery. He saved my life because he didn't give up looking for the problem. Now my heart is strong. I am an intelligent person who is very in-tune with her body and my medical needs. I am not led around by doctors but I know when one is trying to help me. Dr. Riedel tells it like it is. Sometimes that hurts but they are problems that I have allowed to happen and he has tried to help support me in all of my health battles not just my heart. Does he hold your hand tell you sweet nothings to make you feel better? NO! He just makes you feel better because you want to feel better and you follow the program. I'm not always good at that so then he lets me know about it and just because he won't let me get away with anything, does that make him not compassionate? I think that makes him very compassionate. I find him to be a terrific doctor and I'm lucky to have him. If you want your hand held, find another doctor. Linda A Thomas
