Dr. Clay Stalcup is the best PCP I've ever had. He's extremely smart and very good at thinking "outside the box." I really appreciate the fact that he always takes a moment to actually listen to what my own theories are if I am having a health issue (of which I have a few complex ones). He actually listens to what I have to say, and THEN he will give me his professional opinion (in which sometimes he agrees with what I said and something he doesn't, and explains why he thinks my "guess" is probably not correct at this point). Can't ask for better.

Dr Clay Stalcup is a wonderful physician with an excellent staff. I’d recommend them to anyone & appreciate the way he listens and wants to treat the problem not just the symptoms. I’ve been a patient of his for years & I’m grateful to say, he’s always taken great care of me. I have never even thought of changing my primary care physician or doubted his staff would take the best care of me whether it’s calling for an appointment, leaving a message with his nurse or trusting who his refers me to for more complicated medical situations when a specialist or surgery was necessary.

I’m a patient of Dr. Clay (Stalcup). He is a wonderful physician. He always takes time to explain diagnoses and treatments in a simple and understandable way without making you feel like you are being “talked down” to. The nurses are helpful and very gentle when giving care, especially when giving you a shot. The only SMALL issues I have are that there seems to be a different LabCorp phlebotomist every time I have to have my blood drawn, and sometimes there are some glitches-in-the-get-along with the Front office staff communications, but I have seen improvements in the last 6-8 months. So to sum it up, I would HIGHLY recommend this practice to anyone looking for a great physician and a caring staff.

Great family physicians, Stacy and Clay Stalcup are amazing, wonderful doctors. You can trust them to take good care of you. Very kind nurses too and nurse practitioner is very good too. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to find another doctor.

I went to him thinking I was having heart palpitations. They were taking my breath away. I was terrified. He correctly diagnosed me as having acid reflux. Gave me a prescription, I was cured in 24 hrs!
