I was very disappointed about my experience with this place because they treated me poorly and not helping solve the problem that I had instead put myself on a contract for no reason especially since it was the other party the therapists there didn't want to express interest but always kept everything hidden and make excuses on why they won't see the clients especially if someone is going through a crisis all the group therapy was not educational especially since almost 3/4 of the support group was asleep case management was more so emotional support then doing there job they need to hire people that honestly actually care about what is going on with the clients and help support them not use there old problems as an excuse like ex felonies and or drug addicts if I needed to talk to someone about a relationship that was going on I should be able to talk to them in my final days at sanctuary were the worse days of my life because I was discharged for absolutely no reason and no where to go I didn't have my phone or any electronic device to figure out where I could have gone because of that contract and I wish that the coo would step down and be in the shoes of all the clients instead of acting as if her ego was all that she was named for the food there was extremely terrible from the same place everyday and the gym wasn't the best either the outings that they had wasn't the best either and sanctuary should reimburse me the 1493 dollars I lost in a scam because I asked for help on a rental application for a house and I didn't get the help I needed that's all I have to say

My overall experience with Sanctuary was a pretty good one. The staff seem to truly care about the clients. To get the most out of this place you have to really be open to do the work and pay attention in clinical. It may seem like alot of repetition but it comes in handy in crisis situations. It is definitely not a cure all but they give you the tools you need when you leave. Mallorie has been my life saver. I have been gone a couple of months now and I still run to her. Paula is an amazing therapist. She makes you feel comfortable and actually listens. La'Donna found a pretty good combination of meds that are seeming to still work so far. I can honestly say nothing but great things about most of the staff. The reasons I took a star away are because I was promised somethings that I never got or got at the end of my time there and didn't really have the time to work through much. They did give me like an extra week or 2. Once my money ran out I was left high and dry, I didn't even have meds and therapy lined up when I left. Other than those few things I would definitely recommend Sanctuary to anyone seeking help this is a great community that truly treats you like family and they listen and genuinely care about you.

They Left me more scarred and full of hopelessness than I ever had before entering their treatment facility. I went and left on my own after I knew they were REALLY about the all mighty $$$

Uncompassionate, seems to be all about money, and heads in beds! I tried for 5 weeks iop and am now worse off than before I ever went to Sanctuary.... feel free to contact me DM, or on F.B for full detrimental, and valuable information that I think ALL potential clients should know before making this decision. The 1 Star is because Anthony and Kiara were atleast kind!

Firstly my respect goes out to Anthony (a therapist) and Kiara (a group leader) and THAT'S ABOUT ALL...... (Well, the forced weekly uda's (drug screens) all though they were not helping me with any medications was redundant and a bit ridiculous at my i.o.p status) I will say "Ken" was cool, he was just doing his job, but it's all about heads in beds there, the Almighty dollar. I wasted almost 5 weeks and was put through some major unnecessary trauma there, something I will not mention here but feel free to DM me on facebook or messenger for complete details, if SANCTUARY doesn't remove this review because it's not a glorified lie! Their staff is COMPLETELY overworked, and I was lied to from day 1 after begging, literally my wife and I begging them my first day to just "turn me away now" if they didn't think they could get my ptsd, ticks, studders, and involuntary body movements under control. Cynthia who was the director there for about a week until she too was fired agreed they would/could help me. IMPORTANT!!! If you have ever been on any kind of maintenance drug (even though my problem was with opioid and I have been clean for 14 years, DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR LIES!!! DR. La'Donna ABSOLUTELY under no circumstance help you with any medications except the usually guinea pig treatment with a bunch of meds that were unsuccessful in your first attempts at taking them years ago. Dr. La'Donna is there only Dr. And is completely overworked, over whelmed, and out of touch when it comes to TRULY outweighing benefit Vs risk! My own Dr. at my M.a.t. center sent me to Sanctuary hoping they would put me back on the medication that I took for 5 years concurrently with my buprenorphine (Suboxone). PLEASE contact me outside of this review if you'd like to know another horror story that happened to me while in i.o.p Then they wanted to put me in "housing" with the same man/creature that freaked out on me. A lot of people at Sanctuary are "court ordered" to be there. I went on my own to seek help and was lied too and eventually, ultimately turned away if I wasn't willing for housing and further situations to trigger me possible into a dangerous situations. I gave 2 star 🌟 rating for the sake of the staff members there that kind of tried. I am now lost, confused, more damaged and back at square one. They TRULY try to put your cart before your horse. Definitely was not amused by how they were treating me. I was being mentally abused by the clinical staff and a lot of clients. The only counselor Who worked there during my time that I actually feel was helpful was Anthony. He seem to just genuinely care about the clients and wanted the best for them. The majority of the tax were pretty good because they knew that I was being bullied by other clients and they were trying to explain it to clinical however they still wanted to kick me out because it was a my word over the other’s. I was supposed to go to a higher level of care but that’s not what I wanted or needed so I had no other choice but to leave AMA. Amer, Cynthia, and I’m definitely irritated me the most! They also wanted to hold my phone hostage from me which was not cool. I definitely feel like this place caused me more trauma than help. No one wants to be forced into group therapy everyday especially when group therapy is harming your mental health
