I had to give at least one star to do this review. Back in the mid 80s my dad seen this Dr... and about 10+ others who failed to catch the issue that caused his death. He was told he had sinusitis. My dad made sure every Dr, including Jayakody, knew about his previous medical issues and surgeries, including heart conditions and repairs to it . In '67 he had been the victim of a hit and run. He was a disabled veteran. How do you mistake internal bleeding related to a previous surgical procedure for sinusitis? All Dr's involved were sued for malpractice and were found at fault. This one is on the list..

Dr.Jayakody has been my doctor for a number of years,I put my trust in him for my health care,I will always remember his smile as he come in to see me for my visit in his office,I hope his retirement brings him so much joy,sadly missed.Sincerely,Sara Stokes

Not friendly and does not listen patients. I told the doctor I wanted to be tested for lyme disease (I had an informal one from alternative doctors, which I knew the medical establishment would not recognize.) He asked me why did I want a diagnosis because it would serve no purpose and refused to order the testing or refer me to a specialist. He said the treatment only worked within a short time after the infection. Since I'd had the symptoms of disease for many years, there was nothing more that could be done for me. That is not true because alternative interventions have worked in the past but it took time and resources I don't readily have access to now. I'll get another opinion from a different MD, otherwise it's back to see the practitioner in Kentucky, where I know I can get help.

Wish I would have looked at the reviews. I'm in the military and Tricare recommended this doctor to me. I have to say the staff is really curious and friendly I was disappointed about the service I received from the doctor he just said go to physical therapy and didn't once actually look at my wrist or get close enough to see them. I wish the wait wasn't so long at the VA I would have gone there and received way better care.. will not return and I will let Tricare know about my experience.
