Matthew Brock's Online Review Report Card

Back in September I had woken up to a complete lack of energy where even brushing my hair made me winded. I had issues with my body going numb and dizziness that made it impossible for me to drive. I had come to Dr. Brock after going to several other doctors trying to get some answers. The more I explained my symptoms the more I was asked about my personal life and events I experienced over 10 years ago. At this time I was being written off as just having anxiety I tried to be clear I didnt feel anxious about my life at all when I kept trying to explain I felt like something in my body was off. Several tests had been done by other doctors that had shown up clear but I had asked to check my iron levels because we had only checked my ferritin. He told me it wasnt necessary because my ferritin was fine.I finally decided to try going to an OB to see if my issues were reproductive and my iron was tested. There we found my iron was extremely low which explained what I had noted to Dr. Brock made me feel better ie eating red meat and taking iron pills. We also discovered it was related to my cycle and fibroids which was why I wasnt getting better. Luckily Im finally being treated but I was extremely disappointed in the treatment I received at this office. I left feeling like I was just written off as crazy and not really listened to. Sometimes you just have to advocate for yourself and avoid being put on medication that doesnt treat the issue.

I had been a patient of the practice at which Dr. Brock took over ownership for a year prior. In that short time the office had numerous staff changes including the physicians. I was worried at first about starting over again with a new provider but my expectations were exceeded with Dr. Brock’s thoroughness and care.
