Dr fortenberry had told me I had essure coils. I did not know I even had them I had to have surgery due to scar tissue build up. She was very good with my surgery very complete. Did not have any problems. Years later I'm having some problems again. I go to another obgyn that tells me through all xrays and testing I do not have essure coils he is unsure how Dr. Fortenberry even came up with that. But now I have to have my tubes removed due to complications with them and swelling. But not due to essure since I dont have them and didn't have them in the first place.

Dr. Fortenberry prescribed me Yaz to treat my PMDD. It caused me to experience intense depressive symptoms, including self harm and suicidal ideation. I later learned from my psychiatrist that not only is Yaz not approved to treat PMDD, but it is actually well known to make symptoms worse. Dr. Fortenberry's poor decision cost me ten months of my life, including two weeks of which were spent inpatient in a mental health facility.

Dr fortenberry was very good and caring when it came to my surgery. She made me feel real comfortable and went over everything.

I had a high risk pregnancy, and saw Dr. Fortenberry almost exclusively at the office. She took time to listen to my and my husband's questions and concerns, and her bedside manner is fantastic. Never once did we feel rushed through our appointments, and we never had more than a 15 minute wait past our appointment time to see her. She delivered my son via scheduled C-section and the surgery was complication free. I would highly recommend Dr. Fortenberry.

she was nice, patient and explained everything. answered all my questions. I am a physician was thought her manner was very appropriate, she seemed very knowledgable and well trained. She preformed my surgery and I appreciated that the hospital staff had a very high opinion of Dr. Fortenberry

Very nice meeting. Told her I had a specific problem that could impact the examination. She did not take the time to make it a good experience or use proper instruments to make it easier for me. It was very painful, and she did not seem concerned

Very nice Doctor. She is young, but very good. My obgyn retired and I needed to find a new doctor. Dr. Fortenberry is phenomenal for her age.
