List of James York's Reviews
I have had a couple of spinal epidurals administered by Dr. York. What I appreciate is the way he talks to you about the procedure as it progresses so you know what to expect. He is always hoping that the procedure will improve your life and reduce the pain.
I saw Dr. York for an injection in my back today and everything went well. Dr. York explained the procedure to me and then told me everything he was doing during the procedure.I would highly recommend him if this is a procedure that y are in need of.
DR. YORK IS NOW WORKING AT SPINE AND ORTHOPEDIC SOLUTIONS IN SMYRNA, WHICH IS WHERE I GOT MY SI INJECTION. HE WAS PROFESSIONAL AND VERY GENTLE. HE TOLD ME EVERYTHING HE WAS GOING TO DO BEFORE HE DID IT, AND IT WAS A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!
Dr. York is horrible! When a patient is in severe pain, they shouldn't be treated like an inconvenience.
Only cares about insurance money. Not a proper pain management doctor. Deserves to feel every single one of his patients worst pain days for the rest of his greedy life.
My first visit was today. I am a retired RN. I thought Dr. York did a good job explaining options for treatment of my chronic back pain.
I was treated by his associates who took very good care of me in keeping me comfortable until I got a final report from my neurosurgeon and then today I got the opportunity to speak with him, one on one, he listens to what I have to say and is very Patient and thorough and spends time explaining with great detail what to expect with his treatments and even though his office was full he took all the time I needed to take good care of me. I feel very comfortable having him as my pain management physician and anathesiologist.
I have been going there since the other pain place down the road got shut down have never seen him I guess I always see nurse practitioners who say they are just doing their job. Well at first I had to get Xray of back where I have pain from a tumor back in 2006 when they cut through sciatica nerve been taking pain meds since, well they cut my pain meds down & told me that was all they were going to do, now they want me to have C scan of back which I am through will not go back!!!
When I first met Dr.York he was AMAZING. Then not even 3 times of speaking with him out of so far the 8 times I've been here, he disappeares. I was told that he doesn't deal with the patience any longer WHATTTTTTTT???that I have a new nurse practitioner that will help. So what's the plan now?????? How am I supposed to move forward in life without the help of my doctor?????. I'm so tired of covering this pain up with medications that aren't even working like they were at first when I came. Your body gets amune to any type of medicine then you need to take a different step.CORRECT?? Either fix the dang problem (WITH THE HELP OF YOUR DOCTOR) or move on to a place that is capable of doing so. I've been asking for nerve block injections for 3 months now and today I'm here and they have no clue that I even wanted nerve block injections. WOW!! So now if you'd like any progress here at this perticular doctors office make sure you request it to the 3 different people they send in to you and make sure you request it pretty much in writing to the practitioner themselves or it might not get done. Thank you for reading. Overall this is a good place but for only the first 3 -4 times you come and actually get your diagnosis, after that the only suggestion I have is to just hold on because your going to go for a hell of a ride all around this place. Thanks
he just wanna be hurry and don't worry if u hurt no worry about ur med and feeling just money he is not friends

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
