List of Sarah Cannon's Reviews
I just had a double inguinal hernia repair done at Tristar Stonecrest hospital in Smyrna. I must say this was one experience that was 10+. From Destiny at preop registration to Dr Melvin, my surgeon, I was treated with respect, dignity, hospitality and nothing but kindness. They made my stay there much more enjoyable than they had to. Thank you Stonecrest and the entire team who supports the awesome Dr Willie Melvin! Thank you, Phil
The wait was too long especially after seeing an almost empty lobby. The staff here talk over you, and are too rushed to even take into consideration you're sick. i simply asked if they knew any costs and i was givin attitude. I do not recommend coming here. This is my 4th and last time coming here.
My ER visit started off promising but quickly went downhill. I arrived at 1:30 PM and had an EKG, X-ray, and CT scan completed by 3:30 PM. After that, I repeatedly asked about my results with no clear answers. By 8:30 PM, I requested to be discharged because I was hungry, developing a headache, and still hadn't heard anything. It's now 9:45 PM, and no doctor or staff member has followed up or come to speak with me. No one is following through on what they say. I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated with the lack of communication and care.
Came in for stoke symptoms and every single staff member I encountered was phenomenal! I have never been treated so well in a medical setting, especially ER and hospital.
Just came to leave my positive experience since there are so many negative ones. I was sent here for a biopsy of a small lump on my jaw. The ENT office I visited did a good job with it and I came back soon after for surgery to remove a benign tumor from my parotid gland (salivary/jaw). It was a very delicate surgery because the surgeon had to move nerves to dig the tumor out and I had a 2-5% of facial paralysis. I was so nervous but it all went well and I Even got compliments on how nice my incision looked. I heard this doc was the best and that was my experience!
I took my very scared and sick teenage daughter to the ER at 2am in the morning. the dr assigned to her was dr hunt and the nurse was Adam. Adam was very professional and compassionate and was truly helpful and caring. Dr hunt was the exact opposite. He came in and immediately had a bad attitude before even Hearing why we brought her to the ER. He was very unprofessional and very uncaring and acted like we were just taking up space And taking up his precious time. There was not one good interaction between us and we left feeling uncared for and unimportant. we stayed in the ER for 6+ hours due to his negligence. We will not be going back Unless there is absolutely no other choice
Come here if you want to wait three hours for blood results to come back and then another three hours for the doctor to deign to speak to you. Meanwhile experience the joy of rude nurses who tell you nothing and are dismissive if you ask what's happening. Horrific on every level. Unclean, run-down, and dingy. Avoid like the plague, even if you have the plague. Dying would be better than coming here.
I have to say the nurses and doctors kept checking in on me, sometimes too much. They really cared about my healing and the food was pretty decent for hospital food. If I ever have to be inpatient again for an elective surgery I will try to come to Stonecrest.
my husband had back surgery in Sept of 2023. Prior to the surgery he worked with the financial department to get a price he could pay out of pocket. HE SIGNED THE HOSPITAL'S AGREEMENT TO PAY THE AMOUNT THE SURGERY WOULD COST. he paid the amount. He had the surgery. then the hospital did something unethical. having HALF OF THE AMOUNT OF my husband's money in hand - the hospital filed a claim with the insurance company. the insurance company paid the amount TO THE HOSPITAL. my husband's name is Robert Wright and stonecrest hospital is unethical and fraudulent. PEOPLE BEWARE.
I am thoroughly impressed with this hospitals accountability for an experience I felt was unfair. It took some phone calls to get to the right person, but eventually I did. Healthcare is frustrating, imperfect and at one of the the most vulnerable times of your life. They took the time to listen to me, to call me and I felt validated and to rectify the situation.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
