The environment and team effort to Achieve their goal seems to be genuine ; I can truly appreciate the prompt care given and the straightforwardness. I love to see a strong and meticulous health team do their best- keep up the good work Tennessee oncology!
The folks working the front desk along with the nurses have always done a great job displaying empathy and compassion for my mom.
Stay away! All what they care about is to get you in their money trap. They’ll find any way to get your money.
My wife came here due to her being anaemic. She was on an IUD that was causing excessive bleeding and when her OBGYN discovered that she was anaemic they referred her to Tennessee oncology. She had met with a Dr. Zukbus who is the epitome of what the US Healthcare system has become. A money hungry system. He spent less than 10 min with her and was in a hurry to leave and move on to the next patient. He charged her for a 45 min visit which allegedly included his "review" of her blood work. The cost was over $300, along with lab work that had nothing to do with her condition. We decided to consult with her family doctor to discuss what the next best steps are. Her doctor (and another family friend who is also a doctor in an ER) pointed out that the IUD, which was causing excessive bleeding was the culprit. This should be fairly obvious given that her immediate test results post partum showed her blood level as normal. She has since removed the IUD and received a blood test indicating her levels are no longer anaemic. Instead Dr. Zukbus wanted to charge her potentially 100s of dollars on top of the $300 he already charged her, for a procedure she did not need. I do not recommend anyone go to Tennessee Moneycology in Smyrna. Find an honest doctor who is in the industry for your well being.
The staff is amazing. I am always treated with respect.
I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer and was immediately sent to Dr. Zubkus. He is a wonderful man. He tells it like it is which is how I am so I never got offended in anything he told me. I am a almost two years cancer free and the staff was so great to me through the whole Chemo experience. Becky was wonderful the front staff was wonderful. It’s always nice to be remembered no matter what situation you are going through. Jessica is wonderful. All of them are great and I am truly blessed to be alive!!!
I have been going to TN Oncology, Smyrna for over 10 years..Everyone, including reception staff and lab staff, has been kind, courteous, and helpful..Have seen several doctors through the years also, and they have all shown interest and kindness. July 2017
Six months ago my partner died after Tennesee Oncology and Dr Zubcas gave up. When symptoms starting showing up we were left with the nurse practicioner Jessica who doesn't have a clue and kept telling us she was reacting to the chemo therapy withdrawal which was not the case and she should have been hospitalized. After 3 weeks I am told to consider letting her go with dignity. If what I witnessed in hospice is dignity, I hope I never go that way. The only person who contacted me after her death was the research nurse after more than a 3 year battle. All they care about is their number of successes. If you are in a fight for your life go elsewhere where people really care about you.
Bobbi is very rude and condescending. The lab staff hit a nerve in my arm while drawing blood. Dr Zubkus is good though. He seems very direct and knowledgeable. If it were not for me having confidence in him I definitely would not go back to Tennessee Oncology as I was mistreated so bad by Bobbi the front desk receptionist. She should display a little more sensitivity to patients considering the nature of the practice.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
