Excellent Surgeon,excellent bed side manners ,compassionate,kind,understanding,He is the 1st Surgeon that ive ever had that was knowledgable about lipomas that ive had that caused me excruiting pain.There is no other Surgeon that knows like Dr.kevin Purgiel an his PA Dr.is excellent also..they both make a great team an there the Best ive ever went to..thank you gale.an also doing surgery on them lipomas.i highly reccommend you to anybody i know.also gave my regular Dr.Your name an no.to reccommend patients to you ,for You an your Pa.are excellent.

My dad saw him and was told 3 times he didn’t have cancer, but we’ve found out, he does have cancer. This doctor just dismissed it as a hernia. I wouldn’t recommend this doctor to anyone! Glad we went for a second opinion.

Dr. Purgiel and St. Thomas hospital are the greatest combination in TN. I was so glad I listened to folks I know. No waiting for appointments in Dr's office or at the hospital. This combination is the best kept secret in TN. Tell everyone so it's not a secret anymore.
