List of Benjamin B. Hayes's Reviews
I have taken to looking at reviews before I see a new Dr. and Dr. Hayes had mostly good reviews. However there were a few one Stars. I cannot fathom the reasoning behind these reviews. Dr. Hayes and his office staff were professional prompt and definitely explained what my skin growths were all about and did not push for even a liquid nitrogen treatment. I would highly recommend him
Dr. Hayes did what was supposed to be a simple routine excision and it has turned into a nightmare of complications. The nurse was coughing and sneezing during the procedure with no mask on. There was little done to clean sterilize and sanitize the area to be opened up. And little done after making two deep 1 inch incisions in the middle of my stomach. He seemed to not know what he was able to find from the digging done in the open wounds. There was excess skin removed making two very wide holes. One had several stitches the other about half way stitched up. Long story short both incisions because extremely infected swollen feverish and very much an ugly mess. There was then no urgency to take care of it so I had to resort to my family Dr. for antibiotics and wound care. When I went back for stitches to be removed it was so infected the removal was postponed several days. It was still an infected mess when the stitches were removed. When he looked at the infected incisions his exact words were I really dont know what to do with this so lets just leave it alone. There was even a gaping hole in one of the incising with the inside showing. I asked if I needed an antibody for the infection and he just said try this antiseptic or antibiotic cream and see what happens. I asked if I need to come back in for him to check the incisions again. I was told no need for any more follow up. That procedure took place 2 and a half months ago and I have been through 4 rounds of antibiotics to try to get the infection under control. Last week my Dr. had to open both incisions up and started a procedure to pack it and let it drain. I have had three packings and have at least 3 or 4 to go to get this under control and rid the wounds of infection. So I have to go in every 2 to 3 days for this. This so called simple procedure has cost me countless days of pain and suffering money lots of my time and frustration. No one from his office has bothered to call to check on the condition of the infected incisions. Im extremely sorry I let him cut on me. Its been a nightmare and a very long and painful process to correct the mess made of this. My faith in Dr. Hayes has been devastated and no longer have confidence in allowing him to treat me. Instead of two small straight line scars I will end up with two large heavily scared incision sights. I tried to submit this rating with no stars but I had to put at least one star before it let me submit.
Dr Hayes has been my doctor for several years. He is always ready to listen to explain and work with me with regard to my medical issues.
I felt very well treated by the staff and Dr. Hayes. I have several spots that I was concerned about and he looked at each one plus gave me a once over for any other possible problems. I was given a good report on everything. Thank you for your care and respect.
Dr. Hayes worked me in and helped me out tremendously. Would come back in a heart beat.
Dr. Hayes knows his stuff Would highly recommend him

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
