Dr. Beck is the Best Doctor I have seen in my 25 years of being sick. He knows his stuff. He is compassionate, caring and he puts the patience's feelings into perspective. He truly listens and hears what you are saying. This man in my opinion has saved my life already and praying he is back in New Orleans because I need him more now than ever. God hear my prayers.

Twenty four years ago Dr. Beck performed life-saving surgery on my husband. He was a surgeon at Oschner Medical Center in New Orleans. Dr. Beck is kind, knowledgeable and thorough. From the first meeting with him he was very open about my situation and the plan of action. He actively encouraged questions at every meeting and never made me feel as though any question was silly. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing his services.

THIS DOCTOR DAVID BECK, IS TRULY "THE BEST" GUT AND BUTT" DOCTOR IN THE ENTIRE NATION! I FIRST HEARD ABOUT HIM FROM ONE OF HIS PATIENTS THAT OVERHEARD MY GASTROPARESIS STORY. IT WAS CAUSED BY A "SIMPLE" ACID REFLUX SURGERY, FROM ANOTHER DOCTOR. THIS PATIENT TOLD ME HE HAD "9" SURGERIES FOR WHATEVER HIS PROBLEM WAS, BY 9 DIFFERENT DOCTORS. IT TOOK "ONE" VISIT WITH DOCTOR BECK... AND HE WAS CURED! HE IS UNDOUBTEDLY "THE BEST" IN PROBABLY "THE WORLD!" HE SPEAKS: "11" "ELEVEN!" LANGUAGES!

I have been seeing Dr. Beck since 2009 and would highly recommend him. He has performed several surgeries on me and would not allow anyone else to do my rectum or colon surgeries. He is straight forward and let's you know what to expect up front. I currently have a stoma and if I have any questions or concerns about it, I can call and will get an immediate call back from his nurse or him.

Where do I start, I walked in basically at the end of my rope battling Ulcerative Colitis, he did a total remove of my colon formed a J pouch & besides getting an infection shorty after going home, I've been going strong 13 years later no complaints or complications. I would highly recommend anyone to Dr.Beck because I had a great outcome. Thanks Dr.Beck for giving me my life back.

Dr. Beck did not explain anything. I was told it was a laproscopic surgery and he said there would be a two inch incision. I awoke to over six inch incision and no explanation. He told me I should be happy. There were no complications that altered the surgery. he never planned to do small incision. After three weeks he said everything was fine. Still having pain and not lifting much after two months without pain. I saw the assistant more than him. The hospital for the surgery was awful, too.

A straight shooter. Very direct, but leaves plenty of time to address concerns. Surgery began promptly on the time scheduled. So far, no complications.

He is a great surgeon. The person that schedules the procedures is very un profeshional and rude to the patients and even the insurance companies. The ladies up fron sre very freindly. I wish someone could let that person know how rude she is in person and on the phone.
