Just wanted to share that I have always had the best experience in the Spring Hill office with Dr.Michalak! She’s cared for both of my children since birth (now 6 months and 2 years). She is a wonderful pediatrician. I can’t say much about the other providers, but if you can request to see Dr.Michalak for your child’s care- you will not be disappointed.

Dr A Smith is the most a obnoxious pediatrician we’ve ever seen. My 7 year old daughter was having a panic attack in the treatment room because she was so frightened of how ruff and cold he was behaving (she’s never been afraid of the doctor). So Dr Smith says “you need to just hold her down” so he could finish doing his exam. My daughter was so terrified that she almost passed out. Afterwards I told him how I didn’t appreciate how he handled this. Two days later we get a certified letter saying we can never come back to Columbia Peds. We would not go back if they were handing out free money.

Called to make an appointment for my daughter (current patient, she has been here before). Was told they aren’t taking appointments, that the only way to see a doctor is to call first thing in the morning and “hope they have an open spot”. Absolutely ridiculous that I can’t schedule an appointment ahead of time.

Most disrespectful and rude staff ever! Will never take my children here again. They waste your time, refer you to specialist appointments that are unnecessary! When getting to the specialist to be told the appointment was completely unnecessary and unwarranted for the scare!
