List of Dennis Rainwater's Reviews
I’ve been using them for years when they switched a lot of the doctors I started seeing Donna Hall she referred me out to have test ran my test results went back to her saying I needed surgery and she said it’s a flare up take ibuprofen! I asked them to send out a referral for me to go to the gastro doctor she referred me to a few years back and she said she couldn’t do the referral without seeing me first to make an appointment so I call to make an appointment and I’m told I can’t be seen until February! This November 11th! 3 plus months out! Absolutely unacceptable they never do their jobs I have beg for referrals then call and make sure she wrote out the referral then talk to the nurse who handles referrals to make sure she got it and sent it then I have to call the doctor I’m being referred to and make sure they received so if I got to do their jobs for them then WHATS THE POINT IN HAVING A PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR! Worst office ever I don’t recommend anyone to take their dog there a veterinarian could give you better care and service!
I wish I could give negative stars. Death rest is awful. The urgent care staff are the worst I’ve ever dealt with! My last time there, when I checked in at the front desk. The receptionist decided there was nothing they could do to help me. I explained I was not there for pain meds first of all, and that I had already been to the clinic six or eight times for the exact same reason. She went back to talk to Dr. rainwater came back up to the front desk and said yeah they couldn’t help me
He has always treated us well. Been our GP for many years.
My wife sees Dr. Rainwater and I always go with her. We both really like him and his nurse Tiffany. Our experience has always been good. However, yesterday 7/6/2021 the front desk staff were rude. Also they have changed the way they do blood work. They are now using Pathgroup. The Pathgroup blood draw person was extremely rude, to the point of being hateful. If this is to continue, although we really like Dr. Rainwater and nurse Tiffany, we will be forced to look for a different doctor. We are 75 and too old to allow people to treat us with such disrespect.
Entire experience was poor. Rude staff, Unprofessional & unfriendly. Not inclined to help or even try to do their job.
The staff in general at northcrest primary care have been amazing! They're usually easy to get an appointment with, wait times aren't too bad but above all else they've always been very thorough and caring!
Dr. Rainwater was the primary care provider for my 73 year old grandmother. My grandmother has multiple issues to include rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, recurrent cough(nonsmoker), recent onset confusion/memory issues, loss of appetite, etc. Anyway, she went to see "Doctor" Rainwater September 11, 2017, he listened to her heart and lungs, told her he can't give her a legal pill to make her feel good, and sent her home. He even refused to look at her medications to see if anything was interacting negatively with each other. The following day, September 12, 2017, my grandma went to her rheumatologist. The rheumatologist did a physical exam to include listening to her lungs and immediately ordered a chest x-ray to include a few other things. Xray determined my grandma has pneumonia and is now in the hospital. Dennis Rainwater does not deserve the title of medical doctor. His patients are just a number to him and dollar signs.
He is the doctor I've never seen
Really good Doctor. Took his time to answer all my questions talk to me about all my concerns with no rush and was very nice to my baby girl that was with me and was very fussy.
Dr. Rainwater is an excellent listener who never makes you feel rushed when you need to talk through what you are experiencing. He has consistently been up front about whether he's confident he can help me deal with a medical issue or whether he feels I should be seen by a specialist. I would highly recommend him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
