I have seen Dr. Ashworth several time with my infant daughter, and she has always been very nice and caring with both me and my daughter, but when it comes to being very specific about how to administer and dose medication she is very vague. The pharmacist I asked for clarification commented about how vague she was in her instructions. I have tried several times for clarity and this just made her nurse start speaking to me in a slow demeaning tone; I'm not an idiot! The problems I have had with her and her staff have caused me to find a new pediatrician.I just feel that when it comes to the care of my baby both the doctor and nurses need to make sure the parent completely understand the dosing procedure for the medication they are prescribing, not leave them trying to Google it to make sure they do it correctly. Also, it would be nice if you could actually get the doctor on the phone instead of just a nurse who has many people to call back.
