I have been going to Dr. Ferland for over a decade. I like him. He listens to what you have to say and explains to you what is going on. Currently many doctors are leaving Springfield because of the new owners (Tristar). When I find where he is going (Nashville General?) I will start going back to him again no matter how far I have to drive!

Don't waste your time. Does not take care of patients. Unwilling to write a prescription, saw for 2 months then dropped with any notice for no reason, after prescriptions have been out for over 9 days! Needed medicine. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Doctors aide quote " Dr. Ferland refuses to write your prescription." unbelievable.

I have been with Dr Ferland over 20 years. Had to change Dr's due to ins change and he was recommended. Best change ever. You can discuss anything with him. Medical, emotional, mental, anything!!!!! To know that a Dr is actually hearing what you are saying is monumental.

Did you know patients can be fired? I'll start with I enjoyed meeting Jo Anne Ferland. I never laid eyes on Dr. Ferland. At the end of my first appointment I was scheduled to return on Tuesday, the 7th of December, 2021. When I got there to check in, the girl behind the desk informed me that my appointment had been canceled by ME!!! Never, no way, didn't happen. Debate ensued and I let her know ...

Super nice easy to talk to and spends enough time with you. Never feeling rushed. I have been seeing Dr.Ferland for 5 years and never had a problem getting appt or with the staff.
