List of David Holmes's Reviews
He was very professional but friendly also. I felt comfortable and was able to discuss how I felt. No waiting Maybey 5 mins and had me put quick. The front desk was very helpful and helped me understand ins. And up front costs.
Dr Holmes is a very good Doctor, his main objective is to help his patients. He is great at making you understand how your brain chemistry works and if you need medication to help you he will prescribe it if not he wont. If he feels you need a medication he will explain to you what the medicine does to your brain to help you. Hes not a "sit down and talk your problems out" kind of Doctor hes a lets see what the problem is so we can fix it kind of Doctor. Which I like because to me personally talking about all my problems isnt making me feel anything but worst. DR.Holmes has helped me tremendously. He always greets you nicely and is a pleasant dr. His staff is always very nice & professional and has a very neat clean office with some beautiful paintings that he painted himself. Im very greatful I found him!
Dr. David Holmes is a true patient advocate. Thank you Dr Holmes. Thank you Pamela Wilder-Bratcher 😊
Amazing Dr very professional very compassionate
Be Aware What You Are Getting Into Proceed with cation. If you want quality care with a doctor that genuinely understands your concerns and tries to develop a treatment plan based on many factors and is multifaceted suggesting seeking therapy, developing healthy coping mechanisms, or involves anything other than simply obtaining medications which is this doc's specialty. He is banned from both Walmart's pharmacys in our county. That is not a good sign most times. This doc is old school and deals in med management exclusively. Most of which are controlled substances with little to no oversight. You get what you are looking for in this case, so keep that in mind. I would seek care elsewhere if you wish to get better. If you seek to get meds and have little to no hassle in doing so- he's your guy.
Dr. Holmes and his staff are a true gem for rural Middle Tennesseans. I've be seeing him for 6 years & I'm also a mental health professional so tend to be very picky. He is the best psychiatrist I've ever had - clear, to the point, extremely intelligent, knowledgeable and has always been responsive to when my needs have changed. His staff are also fantastic -they return calls the same day (unlike most doctors) & are knowledgeable & kind. The ONLY doctor I've ever had who does Prior Authorizations on meds BEFORE they expire without me having to call. All around a top notch practice. Worth the 3 hour drive!
There's nothing but negative reviews and the first thing you see is how someone said they changed their life. Just saying
This man is a genius. I feel so lucky to have found him.
Dr Holmes is a great doctor and as helped me a lot
WORST DOCTOR EVER He is so rude and nasty to women. He screams at female patients like they are his children. It’s bizarre. He also won’t let you speak. I have no idea how he legally can still practice. I’m driving to Murfreesboro for psychiatric help now because I refuse to go back to him. He will not help you. Run far away.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
