List of Ginny E. Barton's Reviews
I went to her last year when i was pregnant with my daughter, i loved the experience, she explained everything so well and makes sure all her patients needs are met. Although the wait time is long, it’s definitely worth it since you receive great care! I’m pregnant again and am gonna go to her for this pregnancy. Highly recommend Dr.Barton!!
The biggest downfall this place has is wait times. I had an appointment for 2:00, arrived 30 minutes early but still waiting 30 minutes after my original appointment time. Very frustrating to watch people walk in, be seen and leave all before I’m ever brought back. I did have prior obligations after this appointment, but at this point I don’t know how much longer I’ll be waiting. Ginny Barton herself and her staff are all very welcoming and polite. However, they have got to get a handle on their time management.

The office called my mother when I was 17 and told her I was pregnant. I was not pregnant. They should not have called her, when my number was on file primary. They mixed up my urine sample. Not to mention, Dr Barton is nice but also very dismissive. Any concerns I’ve ever addressed with her she dismisses (I assume bc I’m young and healthy). Wait times are crazy. And once I was there for 3 hours ONLY to get a birth control refill!!, watched people arrive after me go back and leave, and when I said something, the lady up front was VERY rude and said it’s not her problem, etc. This was all around 2017-18. Her current nurse practitioner (2022) though, and I can’t remember her name now, is great. She was very kind, listened to my concerns/questions, and overall made me feel comfortable, while dr Barton makes me feel dumb. If you go to her office, see her nurse practitioner!

Very rude receptionist.. And asked me twice to see a midwife, street her telling me I'm high risk.A midwife isn't qualified for that...and the receptionist tried to argue that they are qualified for high risk..yet anyone with common sense knows that's a lieSo glad i didn't continue care through them..please find a better option ladies!!
I started seeing Dr. Barton a couple of years ago and she seemed really nice. After a couple of unnecessary surgeries and failed diagnoses, I still saw her because in this town if you want a female obgyn, you're severely limited. Her nurse, Keisha, is the rudest person I've ever spoken to that works in health care. I guess in this town there aren't a lot of employment options for women so they go into nursing. I had vowed not to go back and to find a new obgyn. I had an emergency unfortunately, before I could find someone else, and had to call her. They do not care about their patients at all. The level of care in general in Tullahoma is poor, but Dr. Barton and her practice have to take the cake. If your knowledge and experience is limited to prescribing birth control (poorly at that) and monitoring pregnancies, just say that during the first visit rather than act like you have any expertise in more complex women's disorders. She can do a pap smear though, if that's all you need.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
