Mainuddin Ahmed's Online Review Report Card

Dr Ahmed is the most knowledgeable Professional kindhearted and personable Doctor . He was able to to diagnose me with a hereditary blood clotting disorder that many other Doctors over my care before him had overlooked. Because of Dr. Ahmed many of my family members have been tested for this disorder and have several came back positive but they are now are on medications that will likely save their lives from this particular DO. We are blessed to have DR. Ahmed in our community.

Dr.Ahmed is a superb... He explains and answers your concerns. Positive attitude. Knowledgable and really cares. Hard to find a Dr. That cares . This is very important now a these days. Very astude to your needs. His staff is also a great team. Very helpfull.

My recommendation would be to go elsewhere if you are seeking a professional ethical Dr. who enforces the same from his staff. This Dr. has permitted his nurse to practice bad medicine by taking blood pressure from a lumpectomy side 4 times. My sister has never had blood clots before and was in fact having sucessful chemo treatment...until that nurse took her blood pressure in the wrong arm. Who allows their staff to continue to work in the office when they may have caused someone their life?

The Doctor may be great but the office staff is not helpful and a bit abrupt and not supportive. My brother Kevin was a patient of Dr. Mainuddin Ahmed for cancer treatment. It seems he had a medical event as a result of his illness and was transported by ambulance to a hospital on or about 29 August.He was subsequently placed in a hospice environment at the Waters of Winchester on or about 1 September or later. When I called Dr. Ahmeds office 1 September from England where I was on a business trip I was very tersely informed that by brother did not sign a HIPAA release form and they could tell me nothing. I had no idea at that point how ill my brother was at the time. Had I known I would of cancelled my trip and came back right of away. I know HIPAA is suppose to protect medical privacy but common sense should of prevailed and I should of been told we cannot tell you his medical history but you should come sooner than later to see your brother.I came back to Miami from a Department of Defense business trip to England on 14 September and had several calls from the hospice concerning my brother . Not one call from his Doctor or his office I came to the Doctors office on 25 September to get medical statement to support a durable power of attorney for financial affairs that my brother was physically unable to attend to his financial affairs. I was told by Shellilah sic the fact the Doctor was out until the 2 October and no other Doctor in the office could sign the statement.My brother past away on The event of 26 September.

Office staff excellent friendly courteous professional. Office was decorated for the season made you feel at home. Dr. Ahmed was a very caring physician. He spent a good deal of time with my dad.
