List of Thomas Perkins's Reviews
Nurse Colleen is professional and puts you at ease. The receptionist is dour, hateful and inept. Dr. Perkins is a capable urologist but is unable to run his office in a professional manner.
Dr. Perkins was rude to my parents, shutting a door in one of their faces. It is apparent common knowledge in the medical community in the larger area that this is common with him since many people make appointments with other urologist in a nearby city after they are displeased with his behavior. Also, his office manager hung up on me twice when I called to cancel the appointment and see if I could get some more information. Of course, I believe this is the same person that told my parents they didn’t have an appointment today, despite the practice calling them to confirm the appointment recently. Basically my recommendation would be to go anywhere else if you can.
The doctor and his staff were rude to my parents. Please make sure to look at reviews on Google and Healthgrades before using this doctor. This seems to be a pattern of behavior. I would never advise someone to seek treatment here.
i was sent to him by the veteran admin. because they couldn't get me in the required time. I am a 100% disable vet. they was very rude and had little time to spend with me. I would not return to him.
Dr. Perkins was thorough and took his time explaining the situation to me. He answered all of my questions in layman's terms and was very courteous. He got to the bottom of the problem fast and I have had no issue since.
Dr Perkins refused to see my 16 year old son because last year I got a second opinion and allowed the other doctor to do the surgery due to insurance purposes. Very rude.
Dr Perkins refused to see my 16 year old son because last year I wanted a second opinion before surgery was performed on my 15 year old son. I chose the other doctor due to insurance being in network with the other doctor at the time. My son is needing to see a urologist and was referred back to Dr Perkins by the ER because the other urologist is unable to see him due to her own medical leave. I am very upset that Dr Perkins would refuse to see a minor child who was referred by the ER. The ER even spoke to Dr Perkins last night and he said that he could see him today. I don’t recommend anyone see this doctor.
I have never, under any circumstances, had a medical professional treat me or my 86 and 87 year old parents with such disrespect and complete disregard for the situation. He still took their $ though!
Terrible!!!! He is rude, told me to shut up. I was trying to ask questions about my problem. I was hoping to get treatment by end of year cause of insurance, but said it was ok if not possible. He had an attitude about that too. I wasnt rude to him.
Will not recommend. Very rude, told me 2 times to shut up while I was trying to ask questions to understand my possible treatment. He told me to leave. Guess I am not suppose to wuestion him. I was hoping to have treatment done by end of year if possible, but said I understood if I couldnt. I was not rude to him, just didn't understand. He acted like I was dumb.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
