List of Deborah St Clair's Reviews
I find Dr. St. Clair to be thorough and compassionate. I highly recommend her.
David, NOW Deborah, left for vacation after my daughter's surgery with no back up doc!! Then, BAM...went in for a recheck & said I'M RETIRING nurse (guessing wife) brought medical records to her. She's left for another specialist to complete recovery and do the surgery Right, after it heals. Now having surgery on other knee, THEN redoing the first surgery done by St Clair. I see no retirement has happened YET? Wondering if this is common? We will contact insurance to not pay for after care, we'll see about other things. Research before you see this doctor.
I do NOT recommend her I was there a. Few months back and it took her over 2 1/2 hours to get in the room and was just completely rude when she finally decided to come in the room, you could seriously hear her outside the room and she would just walk away....
Wonderful, very patient and understanding.
I absolutely do NOT recommend her to anyone not even my worst enemy she is definitely one of the worst doctors I have ever been to in my life. It took her over 2 1/2 hours to even get in the room and it’s not that she was busy because there was several times you would hear here and the nurse talking right in front of our door and would stay there for at least 15 minuets at a time, when she finally decided to come in there she was completely rude and had the nerve to tell me my pain was all in my head because the MRI and X-ray was fine, most doctors try to help I mean there is more than having something broken sometimes there is something else going on but she didn’t care about anyone but herself. I would seriously consider another doctor!
My father broke his leg & was referred to Dr St Clair by Dyersburg Hospital ER. She made fun of him and tried to argue with him in her office. She never gave clear instructions and when we asked questions, such as how much weight can he bear, She raised her voice at us, saying, “NONE”. We asked how we could get him to the bathroom, etc, she told him to “hop on one leg”. He is 83 years old. She made him wait two weeks before casting his leg. She kept telling us he had too much swelling, but she never took the boot off that he got in the ER to examine his leg. I asked the office staff how she knew he had too much swelling for a cast since she never examined him. She told her employee that she did examine him. I am an RN, I never left his side during his visit, & he was NOT examined. Today, we took him for a follow up appointment & the doctor was in a horrible mood! She never gave us eye contact and would not give us any help at all in getting up on the XRay table. My dad asked if she could lower the table so he could get up on it and she told him that she would have had to pay an extra $2,000 to get a table that would raise & lower. She again raised her voice & told my dad that her table was designed for an average person & she was not going to buy a new one for him. She then told Dad that he was not even assisted living material! We have worked really hard to keep his spirits up during his healing time, & she shattered his spirit in a flash! Her Union City office is not really wheelchair assessable. Her wheelchair ramp is extremely narrow & does not have any rails. The ramp is raised a couple of feet in places from the ground & there is a steep incline & a sharp turn in one area. There is a crack all the way across the ramp in one area with one side of the crack elevated a little. When I tried to cross the crack with Dad, the chair came to a sudden stop & Dad propelled forward. Fortunatelly, he was able to stabilize himself before he fell out of the chair. Her restroom is so small that the wheelchair would not fit inside. The hallway is narrow & the rooms are so small, that you have a hard time backing a wheelchair into them. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone! She is one of the rudest people I have ever met! I have never seen an orthopedic office that is so wheelchair unfriendly, but then again, the doctor is unfriendly too!
Dr St Clair is a fine surgeon took me into surgery did a very fine job putting my leg and ankle back together , I have no problems and would request her if needed again thanks so much Flora Washburn
I would not recommend Her/Him to anyone. I was sent to this Dr. by WC and am very displeased with the care I received. He/She did not listen to any of my concerns and didn't do proper testing on my arm. He/She is basically being paid,I feel by WC to NOT take care of the patient. I have nothing good to say about his/her practice. The AMA needs to look into this practice.
Sent for independent medical evaluation. Had several surgeries and still having surgeries and pain management and cant lift at all, he gives a very dishonest report with very little examination. He caused my disability to get canceled.
This Dr. is a nightmare. Made fun of me. Accused me twice of faking hip pain after only glancing at x-ray with no exam. When challenged, finally did a brief once over. Now goes by Debra.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
