MIchael Calfee's Online Review Report Card

I have been treated by 6 or more ortho doctors, Dr Calfee was the only one that would only treat my joints with 1 cortisone injection. Insisted on doing surgery rather than trying injections until they wouldnt stop the pain. I did not have surgery. Staff is very friendly, wait time reasonable. But Im being treated elsewhere.

My mom had an accident where her finger tip was cut off and Dr. Calfee was able to reattach it and you can’t even tell. Happened years ago. I recently had an accident and my toe was broken so bad the bone was out of place and couldn’t heal without surgery. Dr. Calfee did a terrific job putting it back in place. I healed quicker than I thought and his team at his clinic are very kind and have great personalities. Highly recommend!

Dr. Calfee and the crew are amazing! From the first day I came to him, he went above and beyond to be there for me during my severe hand injury. I now have more function with my hand then ever expected! I can't thank Dr. Calfee and the crew enough. Highly recommend him! He is there when you need him!

Very impressed by the professional and efficient care we received on our recent office visit. This includes the front office staff and the nursing staff. Dr. Calfee has excellent clinical and surgical skills and has a genuine concern for his patients.

I was having a lot of issues with both of my hands constantly going numb. It was starting to affect every part of my life. I talked to my regular physician about the issues that I was having and he said that I may have a mild case of carpal tunnel in both hands (didn't seem too concerned). He told me to find a muscle and bone specialist. While doing some research, I come across Advanced Orthopedics in Union City, TN. I called and made an appointment immediately. I was introduced to Dr. Michael Calfee, MD during my visit. They immediately set me up with an appointment to get some nerve testing done in both of my hands and wrists. The test results come out moderate to severe. During my follow up appointment, Dr. Calfee recommended that I have carpal tunnel surgery on both hands to prevent any further damage. I am so glad that I made the decision to move forward with both surgeries. I no longer have numbness in either hand. The surgeries definitely improved my quality of life. Dr. Michael Calfee and his staff are always very friendly and have your personal well being as their top priority. Dr. Calfee and his staff called to check on me after each surgery to make sure that I wasn't having any difficulties or needed any further assistance once I got home. The doctor even prayed with me prior to each surgery to give me peace, help the surgery go well and for adequate healing post surgery. Dr. Calfee and his staff truly care. I would highly recommend their services to anyone. I hope God continues to bless their business.

Dr Calfee is a wonderful doctor. He fixed my mother's ankle and did a awesome job. I would recommend Dr Calfee for your orthopedic needs. He made my mother feel so cared for. He was so good with her. Thanks to a wonderful doctor.

If you have Fibromyalgia, don’t bother seeing him. He does not believe it exists. My question is why did he not order tests to figure out what was causing. A good doctor would investigate and research to help find a diagnosis/treatment plan for a patient who is suffering. The staff was nice and I was seen at my scheduled appointment time.

He is a great Dr. Explains everything in full. Making sure you understand. He performed my shoulder surgery. I have no pain at all now. If you need him for anything he is there. I would reccomend him to anyone with ortho problems.

I had my right hip replaced by Dr Calfee 3 years ago in 2017, He is by far the very best Dr. I have ever been associated with, his knowledge and experience with working with his patients is above and beyond anything I have ever experience before. I would certainly recommend Dr. Calfee to anyone needing his specialty.

I was hurt in an accident several years ago and my company wanted me to drive 760 miles to work light duty. With only the information he received from other company paid doctors he said that I was faking and nothing was wrong. 15 years later I am still having surgeries rebuilding parts of my spine. He seams knowledgeable but in my case he was bought by the company. Doctors should not be allowed to make a diagnosis based on what other company purchased doctors write. Thanks for making my life much harder than it had to be. I was just a one time visit passing through the office and you were paid to say I should be sent for light duty. All is well, you were paid. I have not been able to work since and have been suffering through treatments and surgeries since. You got paid for my suffering.
