Awful!! I’d give a -5 if I could. After serious issues with depression and a recent diagnoses of bipolar schizoaffective and suicidal thoughts, my husband was referred to Dr. Patel of Pathways after his second in-house treatment in Nashville. This doctor isn’t a good doctor. I wouldn’t suggest that anyone see this “doctor”. He stopped all my husband’s psych meds at once and left him suicidal and majorly depressed, yet again! Save yourself and your loved ones the time and frustration, DO NOT SEE THIS “DOCTOR”!

HORRIBLE!!! Should be fired and barred from practicing! Sitting in this person's office felt like an interrogation. He was cold, rude, pushy, and dismissive. Had the nerve to prescribe, not recommend, but unilaterally prescribe a new medication for me after one brief, brutal intake session. It wasn't even a proper session, just intake. Felt more like a patient with an extreme and untreated case of Aspergers than the person who should be treating such cases! I'd make claims of malpractice or malfeasace if I could prove them. DO NOT LET THEM ASSIGN THIS PERSON TO YOUR CASE. He WILL make your condition worse!!!

Sitting in this person's office was more like an interrogation than a psychiatry session. He was cold, brutal, and domineering. Zero bedside manner. Horrificlaly disrespectful to the dignity of the patient. Had a since intake session and he unilaterally placed me on a new medication. No suggesting, no discussing. He made a decision and I refused it. And Pathways in Union City still stood up for him. Incompetent man, incompetent staff. I'm not convinced he wasn't actually suffering from a severe and untreated case of Asperger's Syndrome himself. Seeing Dr. Patel WILL make you feel WORSE. He should be barred from practicing. BORDERLINE MALFEASANCE/ MALPRACTICE.

Doesnt like anyone talking.scares his patients.when soneone changes your medicines or you have problems doesn't want to deal with it.has a rotten attitude.had anxiety before speaking with him was terrified the entire time.his coworkers are afraid of him.not a nice guy at all.has no personality at all.
