My husband had a colonoscopy and was diagnosed with colon cancer. He also had an occluded left carotid that was impending treatment. I was distraught. What would we do first and how would I handle all this. Dr Szewchek put his hand on on shoulder and said don’t worry we will take care of it. He and his awesome office nurse Denise did just that. They coordinated with the vascular surgeon and the endarterectomy was done and the a month later the colon resection. He is awesome

Dr.S took care of me when I had a bleeding episode from my colon. I had a colonoscopy in Nashville. 2 days later i started bleeding and went to our local hospital. My GI doc told me not to drive to Nashville. Dr. Szewczyk found my bleeding site and also another polyp that wasn't removed. Great surgeon, exceptional bedside manners. I know better now.

Couldn't of asked for a better surgeon. Not only did he perform emergency surgery for me, he performed an emergency appendectomy for my daughter who was 7 on Easter morning. Very professional and caring. He even addressed an issue I had and got me in to see another surgeon the very next day. Very thankful for Dr. Szewczky!

He is an excellent surgeon!! I had a total thyroidectomy done. My incision is not very big, actually looks great. My recovery was amazing. He really cares for his patients and takes care of them. A couple of years back he also done my hernia surgery. Wonderful results!!

This was my second procedure done by dr.Szewczyk. It was an inguinal hernia. The procedure was a breeze compared to the previous surgery done in Nashville. I was walking the same day. I took one pain pill. I would highly recommend dr. Szewczyk to anybody.

Dr. Szewczyk performed emergency surgery on my husband and saved his life. Following, Dr. Szewczyk completed two additional surgeries on him, each time providing exemplary care. The office staff is also amazing! We have referred several others to this provider, all of whom have had similar experiences.
