List of James Clure's Reviews
Dr. McClure performed surgery (open reduction - internal fixation) on my right lower leg for a severe oblique fracture of my fibula, in addition to two transverse fractures of my tibia and displacement of my medial malleolus. He is an excellent surgeon with a top notch education and residency - not to mention decades of experience and literally thousand of operations under his belt. He is straightforward and has a wicked dry sense of humor - which I like. I am at the PT stage of my journey, but based on my contacts at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, they all concurred that Dr. McClure did a very good job. Highly recommend.
Dr. McClure and his staff are great. I could not ask for better care. He is very to the point and does all he can to help you .
Dr McClure is an excellent and knowledgeable orthopedic surgeon. He knows his stuff and doesn't waste your time. He has helped me and my husband, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. He has his own personality, but trust that he will take good care of you. Staff and nurses are friendly and experienced. You may have to wait awhile at your appointment because he also has to make hospital rounds. He is worth the wait.
I was just there and they forgot I was there over an hour and a half and no one even came in the room the people who came in almost 30 mins after me were already leaving while I was still sitting in a room and no one showed up
Stayed very late for emergency surgery, explains procedures beforehand, very thorough in checking any medicines, topnotch surgeon
Appropriate test performed, honestly reviewed and completely explained. Personable, easy to talk professional, recommend to anyone. Friendly staff as well.
Do not come here unless you don’t value your time. Be prepared to wait 2 to 4 hours in the waiting room before even being seen by the doctor. The front reception lady is extremely rude does not even acknowledge that you’re sitting out here waiting for hours upon end.
Dr McClure has NO respect for his patients. Waited over 90 minutes for a scheduled appointment. If I wasn't hurting so bad I would have left. I'll never return to this doctors office
He is a great Doctor, I just wish he had not moved from our area.
Very poor bedside manner. Does not listen to the patient. Did not explain the diagnosis. Was not very sensitive to the patient. Very long wait over 3 hours long. Staff was not courteous.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
