He is a wonderful ophthalmologist. He explaines things well. Takes the time to listen to you. I love his staff. I have nothing but good to say. Never really had to wait very long it’s in and out when I go. I definitely recommend him.
After cataract surgery I experienced apt of pain , my wife called to see if a prescription could be called in. The assistant that my wife spoke to told her nothing could be called in and never suggested that I come to be further examined. She was short , rude, and not professional. I had to call again and request I be seen for the pain I was having. I can't see why after having surgery, experiencing pain why any doctors office wouldn't suggest immediately that I been seen . I have been in pain for two days. No follow up calls were made by there office to see how I was doing. I have been in severe pain for more than 24 hours. Not acceptable. I would not ever recommend going to Big Country Eye Care
Dr Teague is fantastic! Very personable. Takes time w his patients and explains everything in “layman” terms. Excellent follow up care and an amazing staff!
doctor Teague is the best eye doctor i have Ever been to
My father had cataract surgery from this doctor. He was one of the 1% who developed complications. Dr Teague kept referring my father back to his optometrist for care instead of dealing with the issue himself. When Dr Teague did finally agree to see my father, he looked for ANY excuse to claim my dad had some pre-existing condition and it couldn't possibly be his fault. The doctor diagnosed my dad (incorrectly) with Keratoconus Teague said to try some bogus contacts and there was nothing else to be done. I found a quality physician here in the Fort Worth area for my father to obtain a second opinion. This physician shot down the Keratoconus diagnosis and properly discovered a Macular Edema (swelling of the Macula from surgery). A heavy regimen of antibiotic drops and a new set of prescription lenses has my dad back to seeing 20/20. If you use Dr Teague and have complications, seek a second opinion from a reputable physician. I will keep my personal opinion To myself since I have never met the Dr face to face, and it is probably best that way.
Dr. Teague is the best!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
