I'm new to Abilene and my primary care doctor sent me to Dr. Zaman because of my consistent neck and back pain. Dr. Zaman was very knowledgeable and caring and told me the truth after examination. He referred me to several other doctors who could assist me with dealing with my issues going forward and absolutely was against any kind of surgery. I've been back several more times for follow ups and further treatment. I appreciate his expertise, recommendations and caring ways. I'm so excited to have found him here in Abilene. He is the best! I highly recommend Dr Zaman. His office staff is very efficient and I never waited long for my appointment. Dr Zaman never rushed me and answered all of my questions where I could understand. I opted for an injection and he was very patient and talked me through it. I have recommended him to some friends. I will definitely go back if needed.

Staff is wonderful....dr not so much... didn't really listen to what I had to say at all. Still in pain now for 3 weeks with no end I site. My patience is gone for his lack of the patients quality of life. For a pain management doctor he does not do a very good job at controlling pain for his patients. If you are truly in pain find another doctor!

This physician has a good bedside manner and an honest, straightforward approach. After three months of more conservative modalities, he administered a cortisone injection into my lower back that provided great pain relief for debilitating sciatic nerve pain. I would see this doctor again for my pain management needs.

Does not spend enough time with the patient and schedules unnecessary office visits for copay and billing purposes as they have nothing to do with treatment. Hides behind support staff when asked billing or insurance questions because he is dishonest about what he knows is not covered.

I have seen Dr. Zaman several times over the last 3 years. He always took time to talk to us and gather information. The explanation of the x rays and MRI�s was very complete. His discussion of options was excellent. When a plan was reached, his implementation of the initial step was very well done. He sent me to a good surgeon for HIP repair rather than replacement. He has helped me extensively with back pain using appropriate procedures and care. He always works to fix the problem just not cover it up with meds. I will return to Dr. Zaman as needed. Thanks

I felt Dr. Zaman did an excellent job of helping me so I referred my 81 yr old mother to him. He was able to determine her issues were not stemming from her back, but from her leg. 3 other previous Dr.'s didn't even consider that. He knows what he's doing!

I had severe back pain and I was referred to Dr Zaman. I found out that I had a herniated disk. He acted quickly to get my pain reduced significantly. He was very thorough, professional and courteous. Dr Zaman has worked closely with the physical therapist to improve my situation and help me avoid surgery. His staff is very friendly and great to work with. I definitely recommend Dr Zaman to anyone in need help with back pain.

Dr. Zaman is personable, listens to the patient and takes the time to answer questions. He guides the patient during the injection procedure so as to minimize the stress and his technique reduces pain to a minimum during the process. I would recommend Dr. Faisel Zaman's practice before before more evasive alternatives.
