List of Jason Acevedo's Reviews
No ethics and treats people poorly.
This ent apparently has a problem with our clinic. His wife decided to make a complaint about her care. Her complaint was taken seriously but in all honesty looking back on it I think she targeted us on purpose. Then this doc with his little ego went to our FB page and decided to make false allegations about our clinic. If he is so willing to lie about local doctors on social media what else is he lying about? Is he ethical?
Dr. Acevedo was very professional and very knowledgeable about my condition. He was patient with me and his demeanor was that I am here for you. Competent, caring, compassionate, very engaged in listening and answering questions. Would send any of my family or friends to him anytime. So very happy he is on my team!
Dr. Acevedo did my sinuplasty surgery July 2017 when he worked for Abilene Diagnostic Clinic southside. All of my pre-op appointments were done very professionally and he explained the procedures very well. He did an amazing job. He has great bedside manner. His office staff was very courteous and very professional.
Ridiculous. First visit went in for exam. My 70 plus dad went in for some issues with pain in his head they thought might be caused by ears. Dr. Looked in ears and disregarded our concern about pain elsewhere. Said ears looked clear. He prescribed some drops and told us to follow up to ses if helped. Receptionist was very confused for us checking out asking us what doctor said and I finally said go ask him. Wow. Then I checked dads billing from Medicare and they charged him for tubes in the ear procedure! Can you saw Medicare fraud?!?! I called and requested they reverse charges. They blamed it on a nurse that was no longer there. Anyway. Warning to check your insurances charges. I checked recently and it was not reversed yet. I asked for follow up but apparently incorrect billing is not their priority unless you owe them money.
I highly recommend Dr. Acevedo!
Dr Acevedo has always been caring and concerned about helping me. He's been available to help me even on a Sunday morning when I had to reach him with my concerns. Each visit, he is ready to listen and always answers my questions. I have already been recommending him to my friends and family.
Turbinate surgery causes Empty Nose Syndrome. It makes you feel like you are suffocating.
Dr. Acevado was very nice placed tubes in my ears to assist with ear problems. He talked me through what he was doing. They did well they were in approx 7 months and I saw Dr. Thompsen to have earwax and tubes removed (loved him). Both of my daughters have been as well. Although I still have some breathing issues my ears not hurting all of the time is a blessing. Only down fall...the new girl at South side where you sign in is somewhat hateful. Told me I wasn't his patient when I went to have tubes checked when they started hurting. I hadn't seen her when tubes were going in. Had to get a new referral when ears were hurting. Definitely like the doctors and most staff.
Excellent ENT. Had my tonsils removed and back of throat fixed to allow a better airway. He also told me my nostril needed to be fixed. After ten days, as he advised me, of severe pain, I breath like I have never known. Surprised at what I have been missing. And the best part, I have eliminated my sleep apnea. ( Not confirmed yet, but was told I no longer snore and I sleep better. ) I would diffently reffer Dr Acevedo to family and friends.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
