My primary care physician for over 16 years. Dr. Melcher is the most conscientious person I know. He will listen to you for as long as you need him to listen. Then he will take the time to ask questions and LISTEN to the answers. He is not one of those “in and out” of the room doctors that all seem like they are in a hurry to get to the next patient, like there is an emergency in the next room. I highly recommend.

Within 10 minutes of my appointed time I was being called back and escorted to the patient room. This is the norm not the exception. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Melcher for many years and I’ve always felt welcomed by him and the staff. Dr. Melcher takes his profession serious and it shows in the care he gives me. Dr. Melchers gives straight answers to my questions. He he is friendly, funny and can carry his own when talking sports. I feel that good Primary Care Providers are rare, and Dr. Melcher is exceptional. I’ve kept Dr. Melcher as my primary care provider even though I’ve left the state.

Dr. Melcher is only the 2nd PCP that I have had in 40 years. When my original PCP retired, I was not looking forward to finding another one, but I knew I wanted to find a doctor closer to where I live in Weatherford. I'm glad I chose Dr. Melcher.......he is a very good listener and willing to take the time to discuss any questions I may have. He and his staff communicates very well.

The waiting room is large, clean and comfortable. The staff is knowledgeable, courteous and .prompt. It was a pleasure meeting Dr Melcher for the first time. He is a no-nonsense Dr. He will review your history and inform you of relevant vaccines. Getting blood work done in the same facility with results the next day was awesome.

Dr. Melcher is a true professional and tops my chart for promptness for my appointments. I never have waited over 15 minutes in the last two years I have been seeing him. Previous doctors have had me wait for 45 - 75 minutes to be seen!The staff are extremely friendly & professional & highly recommend his services to anyone.His referrals for specialists are excellent and schedule me in in a couple days after. seeing Dr. Melcher.
