The staff at spine team allen are not very compassionate. The scheduling person for surgery is totally unreachable. You have to wait to be contacted. You cannot even speak to them if you are in the office. My surgery was scheduled for a Monday. On Thursday afternoon they told me my insurance had not approved it. I found out from my insurance that they waited before submitting the request, and when they finally did, they did not mark it as urgent. The I surface company tried to get it resolved but I received a rude call from the spine team scheduler telling me they were canceling my surgery due to insurance. When I tried explaining what my insurance company said, the scheduler told me I was wrong. I was unable to have surgery before the years end. Now I have to meet my deductible all over again.

The staff is polite. I didn't have to wait long to see the doctor. The doctor asked questions and he listened to me. He came up with great solutions.

Horrible!!! Be aware. They are very selective on who they see. If they don't want to see you they just don't and they say "to protect themselves" try to see then for a problem in my back, and becuase I had a minor car accident where nothing happened they said no, we won't see you, and when I asked why "protocol, to protect themselves " and hang up. It really stinks. My back is getting worse and worse throughout the years, but they don't want to even hear it. It's very, very inhumane. The accident had nothing to do with this pain, and it didn't even involve me physically.
