Excellent. Long waits appear necessary, in part because most patients’ significant eye diseases require many tests as well as in person visits with technologists and doctors. Considering what this doctor is able to do for us, the wait times, which of necessity are long, do not seem unreasonable.

Been going to Dr. Dobler-Dixon for over 2 years for Glaucoma problems. Had surgery on both eyes. Dr. Dobler-Dixon is an EXCELLENT doctor with an excellent reputation. Shown by the number of patients requesting her services, waiting room is always packed!! I drive 100 miles on way to see Dr. Dobler-Dixon about every 3 months. She's such an excellent doctor that I'd wait longer if need be......

The receptionist (Aaron) at the front desk is a rude liar! Ive called several times to make an appointment just for her to continue to give me the runaround. Lied and said her managers name was Rochelle when in fact her name was Michelle! I wouldn’t trust Aaron if she told me the sky was blue! She’s a habitual liar! Probably one of the most rude and mean receptionist that I’ve dealt with in a long time!

It is UNACCEPTABLE the wait time to see the Dr and no one seems to care. The ONLY glaucoma specialist in Amarillo,RIDICULOUS.

3+ hours back and forth, waiting in between is ridiculous. Their time management with patients is horrible. Does this doctor think only her time is important? They don’t warn you ahead of time how long you’ll be here and literally every patient in the waiting room was complaining. dialated my sweethearts eyes and didn’t ask him if he had someone to drive him home or even prepared it was going to happen! Totally disregard for their patients

I’m the type of person that if I have a 10 o’ clock appointment, I’ll leave at 9. Just in case I run into any problems, I’ll have plenty of time to deal with it on the way. That being said, I had a 3 o’ clock appointment and arrived around 2:40 just to wait in the waiting room 10 minutes to 4:00! So I guess getting there late is being on time! 🤷🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️

She has reduced my eye pressure caused by Glaucoma from 18 to 14 by doing laser surgery. Today's date is 4-16-2021.

I have been a patient of Dr Dixon’s since September 2020.. yes the wait is sometimes long however, I feel that when you see a Specialist sometimes you have to wait longer because other patients have serious issues that need the Doctor’s attention for longer than expected. I appreciate the kind , courteous and professional behavior of the staff and Dr Dixon towards me as a patient.. I will recommend this practice

Wait time is ridiculous! Management of time here is not something they know anything about. Better plan on spending up to 3hrs just for a checkup.
