I wish we would have had the good experience that other people had with Dr Gentry. Once the surgery is done I don’t believe him or his nurse care if the patient lives or dies. I don’t like to write a review like that about a surgeon but that is honestly my family’s opinion of Dr Gentry and his nurse.

If I could I would give him zero stars. Dr Gentry made us spend thousands of dollars on MRI, nerve studies, drive time and time off work. When insurance asked to talk to him about surgery to get it approved he refused and said to talk to his pa. Couldn't spend 5 minutes on the phone to get my husband taken care of. He is a joke and shouldn't even be called a doctor. Don't waste you time and money.

If I could of left zero I would have. This doctor is a complete waste of time. My husband had surgery scheduled and had all his MRI done just like the doctor requested. Spent thousands of dollars and many trips to to his office. Insurance requested that he give a peer to peer review so that it would get approved. Dr Gentry refused because he only wanted PA to talk to the insurance. He couldn't take two minutes out of his day. Don't waste your time and your money on him. Worst experience of my life and my husband will have to live in pain for the rest of his life because this Dr is a joke.

Would have left zero star if I could. Dr Gentry shouldn't even be considered a doctor. This man can't even take two minutes out of his day to talk to insurance. Sure wanted to rush to waste our money on tests, travel time, and days off work. Don't waste your time or money on this man.

Dr. Gentry and his nurses are great! The office staff...thats a whole different story. They are unwelcoming, RUDE, and very dis organized. We have used this dr. twice now for back surgeries and having to deal with the from office staff will literally make your blood pressure go up! So, if you can manage to not want to climb across the counter to smack them in the face, getting in to see the dr is great! Good Luck!!

I have had 6 neck surgeries all performed by Dr. Gentry. He and his staff has always gone above and beyond their duties to always help me and make sure I was taken care of. Dr. Gentry has always made me feel he had time to discuss my situations without being rushed out of there. Any time I had to have a surgery he always made me feel comfortable before the procedure. He has always been polite, professional and caring. Dr. Gentry has my trust always!!!!!!! Thank you Dr. Gentry for all you have done for me.

Dr Gentry is wonderful. took good care of my husband did a great job on his neck and back will continue to see him he's a keeper

EVERY SINGLE appointment that Dr. Gentry's office has scheduled me for has been rescheduled because he will not be in. Really???? You should know his schedule so why do you schedule me an appointment only to call me a week later and reschedule? NOTHING I have experienced with this doctor has been a good experience!

Dr. Gentry has no business cutting people open and his bedside manner is as bad as his medical ability! Laminotomy/Foramin L4-5...first surgery he punctured my spinal cord and gave me staph infection. Two weeks later ...second surgery he couldn't find spinal leak so just closed me up. Two weeks later...third surgery he found the leak. Still have to be on iv antibiotics for who knows how long! He displays absolutely no care or concern for his patients!

Dr Gentry is first rate PLUS. As long as I continue to recover, I will forever be grateful. Vast improvement over Pre surgery condition. I’m sore as hell right now. And sometimes the site burns like fire 🔥.. 5 days post op. To be expected. Anyway, I also like the facility where he does his work.. Quail Creek Surgeon’s Hospital. Excellent staff. Coby [RN] was great and so were all the other nurses. I barely and painfully walked in to the place on Surgery morning. I was stopped over 20 degrees. I WALKED out 4 days later standing straight up!!
