List of Daniel Beggs's Reviews
Very prompt on scheduled check in time. Very kind and attentive to symptoms and care. Very prompt on portal questions and answers. Satisfied with the care I received.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Beggs for a decade. I had some serious health problems that he worked thru and happy to announce I am doing much better ! Always impressed with his bed side manner this guys is extremely pleasant to talk to and he listens, he takes the time to explain what’s going on. I can tell anybody needing his services this is your dr. Thank you. Dr. Beggs. you’re awesome!
I am very pleased with Dr. Beggs and all staff. They explain, answer any questions you may have. I will recommend Dr. Beggs ! Thank You All.
Dr Beggs is a wonderful physician. He is very caring and compassionate. He takes the time to discuss findings with you in an unhurried manner.
Dr. Beggs is by far the best gastroenterologist in the country. He has saved my life many times while I was suffering from chronic pancreatitis among other GI issues. He is also not afraid of reaching out for help from other physicians if need be. He is very knowledgeable and will happily answer any and all questions you may have. He takes the time to make sure that you understand. I started seeing him when I lived in Amarillo but now I live 4 hours away but it’s absolutely worth the drive to see him. His nurse Anita is absolutely wonderful as well. She is a good contact to have if you have any questions. Thank you Dr. Beggs for all that you have done for me and my health!
Although my son is mildly autistic and has language and auditory processing disorders, Dr. Beggs always spoke directly to him. My son would answer when he could, and I could help out when he was unsure. Dr. Beggs was very patient with my son, and very much included him in and made sure he understood about the exam.
Appreciate the professionalism and kind manner in which Dr Beggs talks to you. He’s top notch and is excellent in his profession. I’ve been a patient for several years.
Dr. Beggs has truly been a God send in my life. Although my health is frustrating for myself and for the people who care for me, Dr. Beggs is always kind, patient, and forth coming! He knows how to answer my questions with out making me feel like an idiot and he believes me… he sees what’s going on and he doesn’t disbelieve the symptoms I share with him. He does not make me feel like I’m crazy, nor does he say “oh it’s just a chemical imbalance, or it’s just mental, or you’re the problem, it’s all in your head!” He seeks out the problem, Dr. Beggs exhausts all scenarios and sticks it out with you! Being a chronically ill patient it’s important to have a doctor I connect with and trust!
I believe that Dr. Beggs is a good doctor, but I feel it is worth mentioning my experience in case you are doing research for a colonoscopy because ultimately, the doctor is responsible for his office. I have been trying to make an appointment for two years and the story is always the same when you call: "We'll have the nurse call you." That's not a problem except it takes 2,3, or 4 days for them to call back and sometimes they don't call back at all. If you happen to miss the call, you start the whole process over again. It gets old in a hurry. I have even gone twice in person to get an appointment and have been told "the nurses are busy and can't see you." This year, I finally got an appointment when a "Scheduler" called me. A week prior to the colonoscopy, I called telling them I had not received the packet that gave me instructions on what to do. They said "the nurse will call you," but no one did. I called back just days before the scheduled colonoscopy and told them it was urgent that I get a call back that day because I had no packet with instructions and no prescription for the drink. They said "the nurse will call you," but no one did. This morning, I decided I needed a new doctor because this is not the level of care I want AND there was no time left because the prep drink would begin tomorrow morning. When I called to cancel the colonoscopy (of course I had to leave a message), I got a call back in 17 minutes. When I didn't answer, I got another call in 25 minutes. It's like dealing with a cable company. When you threaten to leave, they finally give you some customer service. Wouldn't it have been easier to just call me last week when I toted my phone around day and night waiting for the call? I am definitely still changing doctors. If you're from Dr. Beggs office or the Diagnostic Clinic, don't get on here and post that you now care about my problem and CERTAINLY don't ask me to "reach out" to you so we can work it out. I have already tried that, and it didn't work out for me. Please, just change your call back process so this doesn't happen to anyone else.
I believe Dr. Beggs is a good doctor, but my experience with his office was not good and ultimately the doctor is responsible. I have been trying to make an appointment for two years and the story is always the same when you call: "We'll have the nurse call you." That's not a problem except it takes 2,3, or 4 days for them to call back and sometimes they don't call back at all. If you happen to miss the call, you start the whole process over again. I have even gone twice in person to get an appointment and have been told "the nurses are busy and can't see you." This year, I finally got an appointment when a "Scheduler" called me, but they never sent me an info packet of what to do. I called multiple times asking for a call back. Just days before the procedure they still hadn't called me, so I called and cancelled the procedure. They THEN called me twice in 45 minutes. It was too late because the prep would start tomorrow (I have nothing) and I had already decided I wanted a new doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
