Dr Gaines is easy to talk to. She is very personable and was intelligent and had experience treating the problems I was experiencing. She explained to me what she would be doing during my surgery . She also explained the small risks. I would definitely recommend her to any woman needing a urologist . She was very much needed in Amarillo.

Dr. Gaines came highly recommended by my OBGYN of 30 yrs. I was in need of a bladder lift. We attempted to schedule surgery prior to her maternity leave, but my schedule would not allow for it. I was so looking forward to it when she returned, but was saddened to find out she would not be returning. She was exceptional. Her bedside manner and thoroughness was one to be emulated. I still kick myself today for not making it happen sooner. After doing some research, it looks as if she moved to Amarillo and has a practice there. San Antonio lost an incredible Urologist. We miss you, Dr. Gaines.

Am highly recommending Dr. Gaines if you need a Urologist. She was a friendly, engaging physician who genuinely listens and cares. A rare find in today's world! Not only was she pleasant, the entire staff was as well and the wait time was respectful of MY time which is another rarity. A very well oiled machine, helping folks get in, and get out with efficiency and kindness all in one package!

Dr Gaines is great. She did surgery on me & was caring & explained things well. Urology San Antonio was a nightmare! They treated me like a 2nd class citizen - the staff embarrassed me in front of a waiting room full of patients, was blatantly uncaring, unsympathetic to my condition & I believe they violated HIPAA laws with respect to my care. I would NEVER go back to Urology San Antonio but definitely see Dr Gaines at another practice. I would like to find out where she practices now so I can see her if the need arises.

she is great, she did alot of exams. very smart and careing. I was waiting to see her when she got back from leave..I just found out she is not coming back omg.. where is she at..??? Please let me know someone

I was very pleased with Dr. Gaines' attentiveness to my situation (this was my second urology evaluation), and am eagerly awaiting to find out where she will be practicing in the future. I did not have a good experience with Urology San Antonio & office staff as my tests were not ordered twice, and I ended up being on antibiotics weeks longer than necessary. Also, it was very hard to contact them (the phone would ring without an answering service). So, it is their loss that Dr. Gaines has moved on.
