List of Wayne Paullus Iii's Reviews
Great experience with Dr Paullus who operated successfully on my husbands brain. Exceptional knowledge and practices with kindness.
My grandmother died at the hands of Dr. Wayne S. Paullus senior. He has a God complex and is awful with loved ones of patients.
First time patient. Was recommended to Dr. Paullus by both my doctors & friends. He & his staff were very professional. They treated me with the upmost respect. He was very meticulous in his evaluation & answered all my questions & concerns. I would highly recommend Dr. Paullus to all my friends & family.
Not too happy with this doctor! He performed a biopsy on my father's brain to see what type of tumor he had, before the surgery my dad could walk and talk fine, once he woke up from the surgery I wrote his lack of motorskills off due to the nature of the surgery, but here it is 3 months later and my father still can not speak a full sentence anymore and has lost feeling in his entire right side of his body making him wheelchair bound.
Dr Paullus is an amazing doctor. He takes great care of his patients and always makes sure you understand what is going.
I went to Dr Paullus Jr in February of 2018. He listened to my problems and had the test done necessary to figure out the best fix for my back pain I have suffered for so long. I am now recovering from surgery and doing well. The pain that I had for years is gone. He was very nice and so was his entire staff. I would recommend him to anyone that is suffering from chronic pain and needs help. I even get calls back quick which is unusual for Dr offices. I'm glad I was finally referred to him!! I was beginning to think there was no help for my back pain.
I had first surgery it went ok..lasted 3years..second surgery same herniated disk..painful surgery 4days in the hospital..5 months in bed, can’t get up much or sit at all..they send me for injections in my back.no relief..wy going for injections after surgery..awfull...second mri, they told me I had nothing..which I had a copie cd..guess wat a herniated disk ,same disk he was supposed to fix .. they lied to me ..during the surgery he damaged my spinal cord he was trying to fix which he did...but did not go so well when I woke up..I was in bad pain..he told my family waiting for me,that everything went welll..wat a liar....they just want your money...you don’t see him much too..do not have surgery with him...I will never go there ..or you will regret you did...not a good doctor..
Terrible bedside manor with no care and compassion at all.
My complaint is Not against Dr. Paullus, or his nursing staff. It is however against his office staff. They are extremely rude , at times acting as if the patients are a burden to them. Makes office visits and phone calls unpleasant, no matter how great everyone else is.
Office staff has been phenomenal in communicating with me. He's a neurosurgeon, so sometimes things have to change unexpectedly schedule-wise. Nurses, PA: very easy to talk to. Dr. Paullus can have a tendency to talk fast and above my head but he has never had a problem explaining again or differently when I've said, "Whoa! What are you talking about?" He did not like talking about anything but the direct situation at hand, and that's probably a good thing. One step at a time, priorities. Focus. I did not expect my recovery to be what it was. I don't know if that is my ignorance, an out-of-the-ordinary reaction to the surgery I had or a patient education issue, but I was seriously ill-prepared. My expectations almost three months out are still nowhere near reality. That is my only reason for knocking off a star.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
